I get that they wanted the big blow up moment with returning everybody.. but I hate that Thor alone is able to one shot Thanos in Infinity War, but he, Tony with his best armor, and Cap with Mjolnir can do nothing
The music in this scene is lovely. Kinda showcases toby and Andrew’s themes which is also evident in the new suit inspiration. They must have been a really good influence for toms motivation here. Would be nice to see more of this version in a new movie.
Kudos to the lunch room workers who saw Supernam and Shazam filling their trays and didn't make a sound that would have alerted the kids in the next room.
Thanos: I know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you’re right, that to fail all the same. It's frightening, turns the legs to jelly. Also Thanos: Realizes that he's lost, so he looks for a place to sit down because his legs can't support him anymore.
I used to hate Captain America because his character seemed like a stereotypical superhero. But this scene of him standing up against Thanos' army really changed my perspective. His shield is broken, his arm is ruptured, he can barely stand up. But his will power is unshaken so he has no problems fighting till the last breath. Truly the embodiment of "I can do this all day"
the human emotion is fascinating. from readhing comics seating on the floor of he comic books store in the bronx every saturday earing my allowance of 10.00 becoming part of the stories of that fantasy finding myself the hero or sympathizing with the villians but more so taking the journey of the story...and 30 years later from the page to the cover to the screen ..... the grafic ink and tectures the turn of the page...Avengers...Assemble out of my mind out of a childs imagination hmm
1:19 I love how thanos almost admires the avengers here and he looks almost sad that he has to take out the avengers but also laser focused determined to reach his long awaited goal.
Love how they make a massive point in doctor strange that using the time stone to manipulate existence is a VERY bad idea and could result in the universe ripping itself apart, then it conveniently has zero side effects here when Thanos does it. Marvel’s lore inconsistencies need to be studied.
This series is twofold for me. Being 55 I grew up collecting comics. Next I got to see the comics brought to life with my kids. It was a tradition, every new film, we were all there. Happy times.
