Thank you for your comment. If she can tolerate some of these, it might be a good start. If not then getting a more personalised program from your local physiotherapist might be worthwhile
Thank you so much. 6 years post stroke and still hoping to be able to walk close to normal. Yes thank you is not enough for the hope you have given to me.
Thank you so much and I really appreciate your comment! I'm definitely looking into doing more of these for people who've had a stroke. What part of this did you find most useful?
I'm an 83 year old male senior and my question is, that since I had Covid my leg and body strength has never been the same. When I walk why does my body sway indicating my balance is off. Will this video help that or do you recommend something else to correct that? Thank you
Hi Richard, thank you for asking and great move on your part for looking for solutions. I always recommend going to your GP or health practitioner to get more specific advice and to make sure that there's nothing else going on that needs medical attention/treatment. As a general advice for most people, some movement and exercise is better than nothing. This routine was made for people who've had a stroke but this will benefit people with general weakness or balance issues too. I'll make a future video talking about this. Thank you for the idea.
Thank you for the comment. Still getting into the whole RU-vid process, but definitely enjoying it. I guess the goal here is just to figure out what works for me but also what resonates well with the people .
@@vunophysio Thank you for replying to my comment. I think your niche of content is very demandable to viewers. If you can do proper SEO of your video you could get better result
Depending on the severity of the foot drop, some of these may be do-able. Just try a few of the exercises (and the easier version recommended with it). If those are too hard or seem unsafe then you’ll have to skip some of these or do different exercises (not in the video). Were you able to do any of these exercises?
Ahh sciatica is one those complex conditions with a lot of different options and possibilities for treatment. There’s a lot of different triggers that can be different for everyone so it’s hard to recommend just a few specific exercises for because everyone’s different. But it’s definitely a future video idea!
The answer to that would be different for everyone. If someone is not so active, starting out doing this 1-2x per week is fine. If someone has a great exercise history, 3-4x per week is even better. Filling up the other days of the week with other types of exercises is recommended too so it doesn’t get so boring
