@@Im3dJoe thank you for the answer, I did that and instead of deleting the extra edge loops it just drags the geometry in space...I just want to optimize a mesh with too many loops
Your work is great, on the one hand it's amazing what interesting features it has, and on the other hand it's a great example for me to learn to code! It’s true, there are lots of mathematical formulas behind, took long time for me to figure out, some of features took years of try and errors, when I finally done it, that’s the most satisfying moment of my life 😊

Later, when I worked, I happened to contact 3D related software, and gradually found that a lot of math knowledge was used here. Whenever I saw that some desired functions could not be realized, it was really melancholy! It has been more than 20 years, and it is really appreciated to see how you write great code for free! (I come from China, translation software translation of the above content, I hope to understand, ha ha!)

Haha chat gpt ficed it. Line 368 Key Fixes: Line 368 and the corresponding part in getEdgeRingGroup(): Added a check to ensure findLoop is not empty before accessing it. Displays a warning and stops execution if findLoop is invalid.
@@Im3dJoe uh yea,it shows "# Warning: The relative position of the input meshes can cause the boolean operation to create an empty output mesh. Try adjusting the location of the input meshes to produce a valid result. Input meshes that contain no faces can also cause this problem and must be removed from the boolean stack to produce a valid result."
@@Im3dJoe Understandable, I'm in a field where I mostly just need the boolean and export it out to UE so the whole topology thing is irrelevant to me, its really just trying to fix it so I can therefore bevel after I boolean, If you have suggestions of other tools that do this that would be great, right now I just try to make the model do a inset bevel then boolean so it has a smooth edge straight away but sometimes can be tricky with complex shapes, cheers

maya can also to extudtion of face in a click, but the problem is it cause intersection in the area where the corner is very sharp, some as inset in Blender, I am try to create similar function of this addon in Blender. blendermarket.com/products/round-inset
This tool is AWESOME! Im just getting this warning on some of the tools, "History will be off for the command since Keep Originals is off and a selected item has no history." Im using maya 2025. When this warning appears sometimes the tool does not work very well. Is there any solution?
@Im3dJoe there are a few of them. One of those is the edge curve. It doesn't work as perfect as shown in the video presentation. There are others that do display the warning BUT they work perfectly
