Really great video! I like your explanations and deep-thinking on piano-playing a lot. I agree that the less things to think about at the same time, the better. I would even add that one cannot think at more than one thing at once (only alternate between multiple thoughts), so in my opinion there isn't even a choice. Thanks for making a seemingly complex concept become actually quite simple. I love polyphony / chorale style. I've been experimenting lately with alto/tenor melodies, for example on Just Friends. It was really eye-opening to realize that as long as I make that inner-voiced melody pop out, it worked just as well as a regular soprano melody.
Even though I will probably never be able to get anything close to this level of piano playing, I was enjoying your explanation very much. Great analysis of a great Stevie Wonder "cover". 👍
