Welcome to the RU-vid home of Da Basic Btch and the Bearded Biker. Just a Trucker and Air Traffic Controller sharing what we do. Florida is our home. We are here to have a good time and interact with everyone who is a member of our little community. If you want to know what we are smoking, drinking, and planning, this is the place for you!
Here in Frankfort KY you see a lot of people ordering Makers Mark and Coke. Our son likes the Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, and can afford it because he drinks very little. I started getting more into bourbon the last 5 years, and have 4 favorites- 100 proof Old Grand-Dad, 100 proof Early Times, 90 proof Bernheim Original Wheat Whiskey, and 100 proof Coopers' Craft. The 90 proof seems better for beginners, and the 100 proof Early Times has more heat and more experienced drinkers seem to like it more. My wife paid for a J Mattingly in Frankfort tasting, and bought me my favorite, a 122 proof Open Doors for $120, it was good but more than I would ever spend.
We have the Old Grand-Dad 114 in our Old Fashion showdown series, but we don't know which sample it is. We have never run into a Early Times BiB in the wild yet, but we will add the Bernheim Original Wheat and Coopers' Craft 100 to the list. We will make sure to give you a shoutout when we try them.
Greetings from Levy County (Up near Gainesville). Nice list. I personally would not include any Buffalo Trace products in any list. They are more hype than substance, there are better whiskies for less money to be had. However, as they say over at the Whiskey Tribe and Whiskey Vault " Drink the whiskey you like the way you like to drink it". Cheers.🥃😎
Don't get us wrong, we somewhat agree. We touch on it in The Craft Whisk(e)y Club video. Sure, there are a ton of "better" alternatives, but we also enjoy the chase and having those bottles. Might be silly, but having all those Blanton's sure does look good!
Man, you can hear the pure disappointment in my voice. After more research, we should have let them sit for a bit longer to rest. I have a feeling the bone would have come right out with some more rest time. Also, we were a bit quiet in the overview because everyone asleep.
We do keep them in the fridge. In the notes they send, they say don't use ice, but we did. We like it better in a glass with ice. But yes, we keep it in the fridge.
If the speed limit is 70mph , and you are traveling 85mph. You do understand Michelin makes truck tires with the highest speed rating of 70mph maximum. If you exceed 70 mph, you're exceeding maximum speed rating . Most recaps are only rated for 65mph. As a retired truck driver. Not too impressed with you " experts."
The happiest trucker I ever saw was on the Pa. NE extension. Big valley down and up. Looked like the 18 wheeler was free wheeling downhill in the right lane. Solid traffic in the left lane where I was. I saw him coming smoking up the hill. I lifted slightly as he was coming up and flashed him(daytime) and he pulled left into line before getting to slower traffic in the right lane. He never have to touch his brakes. I didn't touch mine either and he was so smooth about it. Didn't cost me anything except 5 car lengths till he crested the hill and got back in the right lane
Ryan just wants to go into a UK pub where people think he’s a legend and party. You’d think a movie star might be enough, but then you get a bunch of people thinking you’re stuck up or a rich jerk or whatever. But if you’ve just taken their football team up a league that is guna unite a lot of people. And I heard the documentary is making good money too…
@@DaBasicBtchandTheBeardedBiker tbf I haven’t watched it either. I just heard they spent money on the team, but made some back by doing the documentary and US tour.
People are fed up with truckers because of the way that they drive. Most think they are cops and control traffic. They cut you off with no reguard for safety. They camp out in passing lanes. They bring it on themselves.
I would say about 80% of America can't drive with no obstacles hindering them. This guy decides to drive down the highway at 3AM in a 20 ton missle, all while being guided by another human just like him so he can shit in a bucket and get to the dropoff on time. Tell me that isn't skill and what runs American, and quite frankly I will never listen to another opinion of yours again.
Never saw the original Road House but the new one was pretty good. Gyllenhaal is one of my favorite actors, movies like donnie darko, the covenent are so good.
The old school is straight 80's cheesy which is great. I am watching the new one tomorrow. There are so many old movies we missed. Going go have to do a second episode lol.
