JannaMaeSims - Lovely intro and music. It’s so cool how you have a little backstory in the episode notes, as well. re: (02:47) Exterior - Only a few minutes into the episode and the build already looks great. The stop-motion (like 04:01 and throughout the episode) is so smooth and nice to watch. It’s great to see the build coming together, piece by piece. The little detail of the (04:10) piano by the fire for a live singer is sweet. The kitchen (04:19) looks like a quiet and tidy area of the house and the (06:47) seating by the fireplace looks very comfortable and inviting. The (12:15) greenhouse is lovely and detailed, as well, and the (13:05) truck and stand are a great touch for the story outlined in the episode notes. re: (14:33) Visitor Sim - Aha, this must be the second part of the story. Nice live scenes at the end of the episode, as well. Episode came out great.
Awww, thank you so much for the lovely comment!!! 💖😊 Glad you like it. The scenes somehow played out like that so I went along with the storyline haha. And I enjoyed putting this group of sims together for that. 🥰 The greenhouse, kitchen and fireplaces are also some of my fave elements of this build.
@@jannamaesims- So nice to share your thoughts on the build, and interesting to read. And this part of your commentary was entertaining: ‘The scenes somehow played out like that so I went along with the storyline, haha.’ Because - same. Even if starting with a general storyline, the Sims usually find a way to do something wild (or just quirky), so sometimes just run with that. The Sims in our game have full autonomy, so never know what will pop into their heads. It makes filming chaos, but to be fair - it’s entertaining. Stuff we didn’t plan for the storyline, just cheerfully reported: * The Sim who posed for her Christmas portrait naked. * The private eyes so smitten they’d drop everything to slow-dance. * The butler who learned how to bake just to impress the cook. * The wuxia fighters who kept interrupting filming to go swimming. And so on... So, in effect - know just what you mean. Also, yes, the kitchen looks like a tranquil place. The greenhouse and all the detail in it is just really inviting. And the fireplace is so cozy. Actually, it looks like there are two (the (04:00) main and the (14:09) smaller one, where the Sim is reading by the fire later on in the episode); both awesome. Lovely build.
@@FiresideSims there are actually four fireplaces in this build 😂 one in the restaurant 4:01, one each in the bigger rooms on the second 6:48 and third 9:42 floors (where they are reading), and one in the detached cottage 11:08. and yes, it's chaotic when they have full autonomy but you do find unexpected gems in all that chaos. and that's where the fun is 😂 you're examples are sooo funny and entertaining!! thank you again for watching ✨️☺️
@@jannamaesims- Oh, are there four - it’s so sweet that you included timestamps. This house is beautiful but so big; imagine staying here and getting lost on the way to the breakfast part of the bed and breakfast: ‘Will be there for breakfast.' 'ETA?' 'Eventually...' Meanwhile, your friend(s) with the unerring sense of direction texting back: ‘Where are you now.’ ‘The room with the tiny fireplace.’ ‘Okay, go back out of that room, turn around, then hang a left.’ Five minutes later… ‘They’re almost out of croissants, where’d you go.’ ‘Looks like a cottage. But there’s a fireplace here, too, so it’s all good.’ ‘Sit tight, bringing you some croissants.’ ‘Awesome.’ ‘And after breakfast we can check out the greenhouse.’ ‘THERE’S A GREENHOUSE.’
