NOBODY saw this coming. Menshew is still young, mobile and a Great teammate. I love that the RAIDERS gave the man a full off-season to compete for qb1. I still hope AOC improves.Telesco is interesting so far!. I can't wait till the draft!
The NFL isn't fair, but if there's a haul to be had don't count JFs out yet! IMO it's seeming more likely they will take Williams. I think the surer route to success is Justin. But what if the many, many pundits are right and Williams is "generational.":
Did Jayden Daniels Agent make this video? His is not a generational talent. He is a gamble like all the rest. Kingsbury isn't the OC the Commanders need. The offense he runs will be shut down in the NFC East. Sam Howell can compete in this league and should get a chance to prove it but I suspect the new crew wants a complete reset so he is gone. Drake Maye would be a better fit than Daniels but I guess we will have to wait and see what happens this week at the combine. Whoever did the talking on this video has a great voice but it was difficult to stay awake. Was he really excited about what is possible for the Commanders? I couldn't tell if he was. The voice says words that you think are great adjectives but it sounds like he doesn't believe what he is saying.
Drake Maye is not going to elevate the Washington offense, Jayden Daniels can get outside the pocket and make plays now he will have to learn to slide, but Drake Maye is going to need a good offense to be successful, he took a lot of sacks in the ACC so what’s going to happen at the next level? Sry to all the Mayesayers out there but Drake was ranked 15th overall last year that doesn’t garner a top 5 pick to me, and you can say oh he didn’t have receivers but neither did Dan Marino and he threw for 4000 + yards for a bunch of seasons, being prototypical size doesn’t make you good, stop thinking with emotion. Maye is in line with the other QBs in the draft later round, and most of them had better years, and don’t say 22 season he was a stud because Howell went from too prospect to 5th round and he had les than Maye in his last cfb season,so ……
I like the idea of MHJr. and Turner (but there is some depth at the Edge)! Marvin is the generational talent in this draft not Caleb. If they get one of Washington's 2nd rounders (depending on FA signings) get a left OT
The problem with Cousins is he's a short-term solution. There's no guarantee he'll win a SB and it'd likely be back to square one with a mid pick. Tannehill is bad. I think Penix is best, outside Daniels, with his placement, end zone production, throwing in tight coverage and more. McCarthy I say is good but I'm less confident. Fields I really like and he has potential, but biggest question is if changing teams is what he needs

We got rid of Wills so hopefully we will get someone who understands the "line of gain" to be DC. Now if we can get rid of Shanahan so we can maximize our offensive talent, we might win a SB.
The Chicago Bears need to be very careful with this guy Caleb Williams and his camp. I believe someone told Colin Cowherd that Caleb Williams does not want to play for the Chicago Bears. What if the Chicago Bears draft Caleb Williams and trade Justin Fields; only to have Caleb Williams not give the Bears his all so after the end of his rookie contract he can go to the Commanders? Justin Fields wants to be a Chicago Bear and therefore should be a Chicago Bear. The most important thing in drafting or acquiring a player is does this player really want to be a Chicago Bear. I want Justin Fields because, Justin Fields wants to be a Chicago Bear. Justin Fields wants to be a Bear in his heart. Colin Cowherd is not lying about what he heard. The Bears need to be very careful with this guy Caleb Williams and his father. If the Chicago Bears use the #1 overall draft pick on a guy that really does not want to be a Chicago Bear it is going to be a catastrophic disaster. In an attempt to save a few dollars by not signing Justin Fields you are going to draft a quarterback with the #1 overall pick in Caleb Williams that allegedly does not want to be a Chicago Bear. I am a real Bears fan and this could be a catastrophic disaster for Chicago. In my opinion it would make more sense for Chicago to trade back with both of their 1st round picks and get a lot of draft capital. By trading back Chicago can address all of their critical team needs and also get depth players at other positions. Chicago would be better off drafting Michael Penix or another quarterback and keeping Justin Fields. In my opinion if Michael Penix stays healthy he is going to be a better professional quarterback than Caleb Williams. Why is drafting Caleb Williams a must? Is it because the media keeps calling him a generational talent? Well they said the same thing about Bryce Young and then the 2023 NFL football season happened. As soon as CJ Stroud had a better season they all jump onto the CJ Stroud band wagon. The Chicago Bears need to be very careful with this guy Caleb Williams.
If I know Poles, he’ll trade down and draft Joe Alt to solidify the Left Tackle first, then Fashanu at pick 9 to create an elite offensive line. He’ll probably address the Center position in free agency. Probably pick up Mike Evans in free agency as well. Of course resigning Jaylon Johnson is a must. Edge rusher can also be addressed in free agency.
