Hello from South Australia. Thank you for a caring discussion. I was 26 when I had my first ‘episode’, in 1987. I struggled to hold a pen at work. That was a Thursday. By the Sunday evening, I was struggling to walk, talk and see. A friend took me to a doctor who immediately sent me to a neurologist. I was admitted to hospital and had an MRI and LP. I was released with oral prednisolone and told I ‘could’ have MS. I wasn’t officially diagnosed until 1999, after I had weaned my last child who was born in 1998. About 3 years ago, I transitioned to SPMS. I do hydrotherapy and exercises at the gym. I am looking forward to listening to more podcasts from you both. Take care.
