We love Joplin! From Hot Springs and we camp up there about every other weekend...site 17 is awesome if you don't mind the walk and sites 27, 42 and 57 are our favorites...subbed to ya and maybe we'll see you out there sometime!
Hey that is awesome! I love site #17, one of my favorites.. .thanks for the other sites as well, I'll check those out! I haven't been out there since July, I think it's about time...this weather too is better! Happy Camping! Hope to see you out there! Thanks for watching 😊
Well, thank you, only if I was that talented! I can barely even put together these videos. I hope to learn more and grow as a creator. It's just been a tough summer, but I'm about to get back out there. Thanks so much for watching!
Arkansas is The Best I ended up here - my forever home if you will. Naturally ( get it 😂) I want to do this hike too. Excellent video thanks for posting it…. I guess I’ll have to Google where the heck this place is. !! P S when I see ferns I wanna lay in ‘em & take a nap but it’s not really cool
Arkansas is the best, and so is this hike! It's located at Kyle's Landing campground... Check out my first video of Eye of the Needle from February, and I believe it shows the location more. And yes, the Ferns were incredible 💚 Thanks so much for watching!
No it isn't...I did some research and I believe it's the old centerpoint school site, but it was first settled in 1830 by Abraham Villines. Thanks for watching 😀
Ok, good to know, thanks. I always thought so, but you hear different stuff, so ...it's gorgeous nonetheless, I make a visit a few times a year! Thanks so much for watching!
A Missouri man who led a 31-person hike on the Buffalo National River where one participant died in a fall will face criminal penalties for acting as an unpermitted guide, a federal judge ruled this week. In a bench trial in Harrison, Arkansas, Magistrate Judge Mark E. Ford ruled that Jeffrey M. Johnson had charged participants money to be part of a hiking group he organized despite not having necessary permits to engage in commercial activity on National Park Service-managed land.
Oh yes, I've heard all about this! This trail can definitely be a risky hike, so unfortunate that someone has lost their life on it. To guide people on this hike, in my opinion, isn't a smart decision! Thanks for watching!
Well, Joplin campground has 3 bathrooms, but they aren't close. Unfortunately, every time I stay there, I end up cleaning someone's old toilet paper 😐 I will say a lot of the campsites around there aren't very close to bathrooms, but closer than this site. Thanks for watching😊
Thatz kool..i cant camp much n summer ima welder and I hate the heat 🥵🤣🤷...but fall 🍂🍁 n winter ❄️☃️ I love to van camp or take my boat or kayak island camping on Ouachita.. thiz waz a great video Omg Roark Bluff waz spectacular!!! Glad to knw that campground is open for winter... I will go!! ❤
@Lonerwolf420 Yes, fall and winter camping are the best! Free during winter, just bring your own water, and the vault toilet stays open. Oh, and Lake Ouachita... only my favorite lake in AR! Thanks for watching 😀
We have a cabin five miles east of Jasper. The hiking and the kayaking and fishing are just amazing. Don't tell too many people about it, we like having it as our little secret!
I’m from Springdale and enjoy hiking too but didn’t get a chance to this year but I might do it at the devil’s den trail this weekend by the way who the heck 💩 there should just do in the creek so no 🚽 paper needed 😂😂
No he should have dug a proper hole out in the woods and pooped in it and then covered it up. Never poop in the river, creek, or any water!!! It will contaminate the water for the hikers, people swimming, and for the wildlife living in and out of said water...a lot of us hikers and backpackers filter water from the water sources on trail and that could make someone extremely sick!!! Thanks for watching.
We have a cabin near Jasper and hike all the time, except we don't hike in the summer. Too many biting bugs, poison ivy and snakes! We are about a mile from the Buffalo at Hasty and we do play in the water!
Thank u that was so scary, I would never go alone , I am a big coward so many things could have gone wrong.Life is so precious. It was beautiful❤ take care of yourself and again I thank you.
I try to be careful and watch my step!It has become one of my favorite trails. I hiked it in spring too, you should check out that video bc the ferns are gorgeous...if you like ferns! Thanks for watching 😀
Aleays a great time exploring with you my friend. Glad we met this year and look forward to many more hiking adventures. Also thanks for the sweet birthday shout out and stuff. ❤🎉
Thank you for letting me know that! Hundreds are about to turn into bull frogs... I just went again this past weekend, and I saw an even bigger one! Thanks so much for watching!
_Absolutely captivating by the beauty of the Buffalo National River! The dramatic cliffs and the crystal-clear water create a truly awe-inspiring landscape. It's fantastic reminder of the restorative power of nature. Thanks for sharing this - It's truly inspiring!_
Hey Charlie! Preacher here. It's actually Radnor Lake, not Randor. That's my old stomping ground. We have recently moved to North Carolina but for 8 years, I hiked all over Middle Tennessee. Let me know if you ever head back that way, I can recommend some absolutely awesome places to hike. God bless.
Oh thank you so much for letting me know that! I missed mispronounced it and I guess just went with it! I didn't get to spent a lot of time there but I really enjoyed it! So pretty!!! I really can't wait to get back to Tennessee, I really love it! Thanks so much for watching!
