We haven’t had plans for silicone candy molds. However, we do recommend silicone mats in the place of parchment paper. Do you have an application where you prefer parchment over silicone mats?
Would seriously LOVE to share freeze drying with my subscribers. But studying/following for FD for a few years and love that, as a combat veteran, this is American made. I’ve sent emails and hope to hear back.
@@prep4-life Yes. I was referring to my email in response to Jennifer’s email to me (plus one follow up email). I apologize if I’m misunderstanding the silence. I’m excited and think that with the cost of freeze dried products, more people should be excited about freeze drying their own meals/fruits/candies as well. Plus, the act of creating the finished product seems fun for families. Anyways, hope I’m not a bother. Either way, I think what you have is great.
Would yall sell that rubber seal on the door? We love our cube, but sometimes the seal doesn’t seal properly. Our fix has been to wipe a damp rag on the seal. Close the door and it seals great
Just because Skittles look done, doesn’t mean that they are done. Your skittles have a translucent center. That means they’re not done. I’ve been making and selling FD’d candy since Jan, 2016. You cannot fool the experienced sellers.
I’m not at home in front of my Cube but I think I tap on the candy mode and then hold and other options show up to specialize the time and temp for the specific candy you want to freeze dry.
@@kimmididwhatI’m not usually the one in my family doing the candy. I do more of things like our leftovers or other foods so I was just trying to help answer the person’s question but wasn’t at home to make sure I was explaining it right.
I don't know what to think because my new machine has a screen glitch. It wants to black-out for an unknown reason. I am only near an hour in starting a new batch (2nd attempt for a successful experience) but within an hour into the freezing mode the screen blacked out again and it didn't come back on. This didn't happen during my earlier 1st batch attempt. 1st batch the screen didn't black out until after the freeze-drying cycle was near end (or end) and before saying it was complete. There was a several hour gap with no screen. This is extremely frustrating. I want to use my new machine, but it doesn't want to cooperate. Very sad customer.
My Cube is new and just ran 30 hours + something minutes. I didn't know about these side indicators so thank you for that. However, my screen blacked out. That is why I am watching this video. Looking for answers since customer service is closed. The manual doesn't say anything about black screens, and you didn't say anything about the screen going black. Now I'm starting to think my NEW Cube is broken. I am a freaked-out customer!
This is USELESS... you did not show us how to set up the alerts. I have not been able to get my alerts to work since I can't find an app to run it and no information on HOW to make it work. So I do have to go up and down stairs and run in from the barn...

Adding butter seasoning sounds amazing. I have used my Cube for can sweet corn and that is delicious. But I think fresh with butter will be even better. Thanks for posting.

I want one! Love that it is Made in USA I think sales would skyrocket if you could offer 12 months same as cash for those that qualify-none of your competition offers that. The more sales, the more customer reviews gives the potential future customers another way to compare your product with the competition.
In the diagrams in this video it would be helpful along with the verbal of “this is when the valve is open” or closed, that you printed text on the screen saying open or closed. Also would be nice to have that printed on the actual drain valve itself
@jackousley You can figure out how much water to put into it if you weigh it before and after. We are going to be creating a video showing how to figure this out. But in the meantime, just a little bit of warm water will reconstitute the food.

We actually did preheat the trays in defrost mode for 20 minutes before running the regular candy express mode. Development is happening to incorporate this into candy mode, but right now we are preheating for 20 minutes in defrost mode, then cancel defrost, then start the regular candy express mode.
Bla bla bla. Marketing hype. I want to see a video of what is inside of this thing. What makes more expensive than the competition and how does that make it more reliable> Who manufactures the vacuum pump and how long will it last?
Other than a few components, we manufacture this all in our factory in Utah. As for the vacuum pump, we have been abusing these vacuum pumps in our factory for more than 3.5 years in ways that they were not intended so we could feel comfortable putting this out on the market. They are still running just like they did on day one. We are very confident in the product we put out there and know that everybody will love using it as much as we do.
@@prep4-life So you are not going to tell us anything other than trust us. I can't see spending that much money on a unit when I don't know what is inside it. You should do a video on the inside of your unit and why it is worth the money. There are so many repair videos on HR that I know it was designed by amateurs and not even a consideration for anyone who has any technical knowledge. Stay Fresh learned from the HR mistakes and built what looks like a robust and serviceable product. You need to show us what you got. And obviously you don't build the vacuum pump.
Why doesn’t it have to be completely touching around before the vacuum? Once it’s complete wouldn’t that let air in and then make the food soft. I got that it still works wants to vacuum is on but I’m just wondering is that the way it supposed to be?
You said not to use an extension cord, no problem. Can you plug into a wattage meter? I do not want to create an issue but was hoping I could track electric usage.
You say you "make" these. Show a video of your factory and your workers. Chances are it's a Chinese ripoff of an American product, pulled out of containers and shipped. Prove me wrong.
