What happens when you want to pay with a credit card but it won't let you due to the bank? I also tried a prepaid Visa card and it will also not allow me to purchase XRP. Something about the bank not allowing crypto purchases?
@@TheBioenergeticPair Hi you might be able to call the bank to authorize the purchase on the account if you’re finding that the transaction is getting rejected by the bank. That’s what I would do. Not advice :)
@@NilesRiver3 Thank you! I called the bank two days ago and apparently it's Chase that doesn't allow the purchase of crypto. So it's time to change credit cards. :) Apparently there are credit cards focused on buying crypto too. Also, reached out to Topper, still waiting for a reply. If I find out... I will post here if anyone else encounters a problem along the way.
@@Margot17gardens Hi Margot! Thank you so much for the reply. So happy you were successful at purchasing your crypto. :) As of right now I figured out how to get around the credit card issue. I have a debit Visa via Money Network. I loaded money on this card at one of their approved locations and then I made my purchase on Topper via my Xaman wallet and it activated and my purchase went through. So excited! Topper still hasn't replied to my email, but I figured a work around. FYI, prepaid debit cards can work so that you don't have to open up a checking account or use your actual bank debit card. My second question is since the issuer can clawback their tokens at anytime really especially during a financial meltdown can we freezeor disable that feature our own tokens so that the issuer cant?
@@NilesRiver3 interesting, so that begs the question when regulations come in if we would have to go to court gor those assets if they freeze them or clawback the assets we bought. Unless they activate the "immenent domain" law on gold or crypto. Thanks niles

A 2FA works great on a system like Google but it does not work so well on the XRPL. Xaman does have the Tangem card available as an extra factor for authentication
My question is with a hard wallet,with the clawback feature of XRPL can they clawback your tokens even if its on there? If so is there a way to disable it o only i have the private key and not even ripple can take my tokens back?
XRP held on any xrpl wallet cannot be clawed back. Clawback is a feature that can be enabled or left disabled (default setting) by a token issuer on the xrpl. You can check if a xrpl token has clawback enabled or disabled by searching the issuer address on a xrpl explorer like XRP Scan

If you want to trade EVR on XRPL you should hold it there, if you want to HODL evr you should do that on xahau, and if you want to deposit to centralized exchanges, you will sometimes be able to do it through xrpl and sometimes through xahau
Can you do a video on how to freeze and disable trust lines with dcent wallet and maybe a paper wallet. A paper wallet so that we have the 1 and only private key unlike a seed phrase where dcent wallet has it. A comparison would be cool. But the freezing and disabling of XRPL,solo,xoreum trustlines just in case of a global freeze and or clawback of XRPL assets. Most wallets have enabled rippling also
Thanks for watching! Issuer freezing, clawback, and rippling are XRPL capabilities that in my understanding can be enabled or disabled by an issuer. The status of these features can be seen as enabled or disabled by viewing the issuer address on a reputable XRPL explorer like XRP Scan or Bithomp.

@@NilesRiver3 yea for scams and other criminal activities. Unless they make certain tokens for bank use only. As far as I know they can't just take your assets. They can freeze them at will but clawbacking 10s of 1000s of accounts would require a new law or court order but I guess we will see
Hey man I cant withdraw my Coreum from uphold to my ledger, can you please help me! I have the cosmos app installed and my Coreum account made but when I go to withdraw it uphold tells me that its an incorrect address format. I tried both the cosmos network and coreum XRP ledger network. Please help me
I believe coreum on uphold is XRPL Coreum. If it were me I would withdraw my Coreum to ledger on xrpl (with Coreum trustline set) and then bridge the CORE to Coreum mainnet via the Sologenic bridge. Not financial advice
Hi Michael, the LP tokens represent the liquidity providers' shares of the pools. The AMM instances gives governance rights to the largest share holders which allows them to vote on the trading fee the instance charges. In the future I imagine LP tokens could be used as collateral as well
@@likematiii Still figuring this out myself but the yield earned for providing liquidity should be a function of the pools 24hr volume, your portion of the pool, the pools fee and the total liquidity of the pool
An issuer address that is back-holed means that the issuer cannot issue any more tokens to the supply. An issuer that is not black-holed such as Gatehub USD can issue more supply
Is there another option? My Xaman also does not show the teleport app. If I buy on Bitrue can I send direct to xahau network and skip the teleport step ?
Definitely don't deposit any flare tokens into a gate hub wallet, I sent 2000 and it immediately sent it to a different wallet address. Still no answer from gate hub
Sorry to hear it Michael and thanks for sharing and helping others to avoid a similar mistake. Hopefully gatehub can get back to you with a solution. When sending to a wallet or account for the first time, sometimes I like to send a small test amount first
@@NilesRiver3 yea I've been using the same wallet address for a year now sending and receiving. Now all of a sudden I tracked the transactions on the explorer. My transfer went into the address and then immediately to another address with like 8 million flare in it

@@Dartis111 Most welcome! I do not provide any direct advice but the way I remove liquidity is by selecting the "remove liquidity"button which is next to the "add liquidity" button on the liquidity pool's page
