I own a shop in Maine “Double Play Collectibles” and a majority of my videos will be filmed there, whether it’s a podcast, vlog or just a random story about a cool sports card, this is kind of content you can expect to see!
We’re both those guys where we’ll watch the quad box of sports. And love it. But that’s out of necessity during a full slate. Island games shouldn’t make you do this. NFL is going to crush anything on at 530. Just make it happen. Or at least stagger them like they did a few years ago by like an hour and a half so you at least got to half time. Its dumb.
i would take 15 more hr with and a 300 avg and more rbi's as a lead hitter with a better steal % over anyone he was amazing last year and he won mvp shohei did 2 times better he gonna get close to 60
@@recommended1782 oh i'm not knocking what Sho is doing or saying Acuna's numbers were better. I just think it was impressive as hell and got glossed over by a lot of people because of Judge and now what Sho has done.
My favorite thing I want to see all game memorabilia cards get is that QR code that pulls up the game that it was used in. Crazy to me that it’s not a thing across the industry.
Lucky enough to see Trout play a handful of times at Camden. Saw Sho but not lucky enough to see him pitch. Trout to 1B would make a lot of sense. LIke Harper. Hindsight what it is he probably should've done it a while ago. Griffey is the one I wish we could've gotten a few more games from. He would've made a run at Bonds if he didnt play CF the way he did. Which was amazing to watch.
Someone mentioned it in a review and I can’t unsee it but having the city connect text be larger than the dude’s name feels like a miss. You know me. Basketball not my jam but I appreciate new cards. Clean otherwise but I just can’t unsee it.
If ever there was a player who should be wearing a guardian cap on top of Don beebe’s old helmet it’s Tua. And they were calling for him to possibly retire after those scary ones he took a few years ago.
I’m with you. My first ever hobby box was that trilogy box we broke in store. Best card I had in my youth was like a die cut Kijana Carter rookie card that just looked cool. Probably worth a nickel these days. But I just loved having those old cards.
Another great show. Still a fan of the junk box era aka don’t have many valuable cards lol. Big fan of the 1989 UD Griffey, Jr. Recently found a Dale Murphy reverse negative and a Bob Welch 1989 Topps error card. Nothing significant but good memories of collecting when I was a kid. The first time I can remember noticing that reseller first mentality was back in the ps3/wii release days. I was in line to get my ps3 on release day. With the bomber. Shoutout Yunz. And like everyone in line for the Wii was a couple. One for them and one to sell.

for sure! I do a ton of networking in my local area (new england). The more people know you're buying the better!! Flea Markets and Yard Sales still have really good stuff as well. Once you open a shop people start bringing in TONS of stuff.
Ok, I'm subscribed and live in zone 10. I understand this is a new company and that's ok. I'm still subscribed, because I like being part of helping to build things like this. However, there are a few things that I just don't care for. There are no other games to play while you wait for your region to come back into play, so you basically have a subscription just sitting idle, but still being charged for all the idle time. I get that there is always a region in play, but realistically most people who live a normal, 9 to 5 life aren't going to travel all the way across the country to look for a lamp they more than likely are not going to find. It's much more difficult to play another region, because you are completely unfamiliar with the region so clues won't make as much sense. Plus, it's $200,000, not $1.2 million. Ok, I get that when someone wins your region you have to stop playing for a little while until the finders are vetted, but there should also be smaller games to play even your just winning $50 to $100 bucks. When is the next lamp being activated in region 10? Also, will there be more games to play?
Ok, so, I don't believe it's a scam and I guess I was completely wrong about where the lamp was. It is my opinion that the lamp should be hidden MUCH better than this. It should be next to impossible to find and also be very difficult to get there. My guess was in Georgia on the "Flint" ( river) a little pass Sprewell " Bluff" on an island in the middle of the river. The exact island I wont give out, because who knows, they may hide it somewhere around there next time. However, to get to this particular Island one MUST have a kayak or Canoe. There are no trails there and no roadway. Both sides of the river are private property and you cannot wakm to this location without breaking the rules. If the person who found it doesn't have a kayak, isn't wet and doesn't have video of them braving a category 4 river then you automatically know they broke the rules. There's one way in and one way out. There was a weather " Vane" at the trail head and you pass through a "Gate". The " Outer Banks" are off limits. 😂😂 You see, it was really adding up, but the real kicker was the name of the small Island and when I saw that my heart sank. Gibson Island😂😂 To good to be true, I thought , but I was at Academy sports, 3 seconds away from actually buying a kayak when I saw it was found. So, the first spot I looked was at Sprewell Bluff. Thats when I encountered these two guys that did something really strange that made me think, in hindsight, that they were running me off. As I am getting my hiking gear on I look and there is a blacked out SUV sitting with the motor running. When they see me headed for the trailhead, they jumped out if their vehicle, grabbed a kayak and RAN to the river to get in. So, I started hiking and got to where my first spot was and here comes these two guys on the river, by the path. They were zeroed in on me and paddled straight over to me and got out of the river. They started approaching ne sort of quickly which is when I just walked off. They stopped and I continued on, but I could hear them talking. One of them said to the other, think he'll be back?" And the other answered " Nah, not now we're gonna camp here". 😂😂 I'm a paranoid person,but that's how it played out. I never made it to the secobd spot, because I had to buy a kayak. Also, Yellow Jacket Shoals is a very notorious part of the river that you MUST pass through to get to the island. Any way, I'll hunt again when my region activates. Sorry for the paranoid scam talk. Also, I would like to post this sort of thing on the site, but I haven't figured out how, yet. So, if this isn't the place I should post this feel free to delete. Im learning as I go. Well, someone found my region's lamp in 30 days. That sounds really strange to me. Something isn't adding up about this whole thing. Plus, why was my region $1.2 million when all the other regions are only $200,000? How on Earth did someone figure out all those clues and read the poem and went straight to the treasure lamp in 30 days? The host/owner announced that the lamp had been found and looks absolutely distraught. I mean, aren't yall supposed to be happy and celebrate a winner? Imagine being that winner and seeing that the owner is sad and distraught that you found it😂. It doesn't make any sense it's like it's an act or something. Look, the last thing I want to do is accuse someone of running a scam/money grab, but this just isn't adding up. It's a new company that bases it's prizes off of donations and subscribers so why would you put such an expensive prize in one region alone and then make it so easy to find that it is found in 30 days? Then, I read about ALL the other regions about to begin, and they are ALL $200,000 prizes? If it were a scam it went something like this. They never hid the lamp and made the prize so high to convince everyone to subscribe. I mean, that $1.2 million makes it worth driving 1000 miles if you think you know where it is. Then, you take all of that subscription money to pay for all the other $200,000 prizes over the rest of the country. OR, they saw someone getting really close to the lamp and got scared it was going to be found too quickly, so they shut the game down to move the prize lamp. The latter I would actually not have too much of a problem with. I mean, i would abort everything if I saw someone poking around where it was hid, afraid they may return with a shovel. This is a really long winded post, but stay with me. I actually went out to the place that I believe it was at and was hunting for it. I got to a spot that I fully believe this lamp was located. Suddenly, these two guys came out of NOWHERE and basically ran me off from where I was. They didn't tell me to leave, but they did something really, really strange that I will fully explain once they announce where this lamp was found. If I'm right, and they show the place then I have absolutely no doubt something is off. If I'm right that they saw me or someone else poking around the lamp, then they'll come back online and say that the people who found it broke the rules and the game carries on after they move the lamp to another location. They may even move it close by so they don't have to change all the clues and subject matter. There's actually two different places I believe it was. Both places are somewhat in the same area. The area I was ran off from is a public area and if they hid it there they really shouldn't have. The other place I think of would be absolutely BRILLIANT and NO ONE would EVER find it without braving some really harsh conditions. Plus, the only way to get to this second location is just one single way. If you don't get there by this means, you would be disqualified for going onto private property. It says right there in the rules if you go onto private property to find it you are disqualified. How would they even know if you did go onto private property? Well, Ill explain all of that once they announce where it was found. It would be a brilliant hiding spot. I wish I worked for these people, because I could hide that lamp where you would have to risk your life to get to it. You sign a waver relieving them of responsibility if you are hurt.😂 So, If I'm right about this, then they know who I am, because they saw me on the cameras. Thats if there was any cameras. The way it happened leads me to believe they are actually, physically there at the location watching the trailhead for anyone going in. Then, they jump into action to prevent a non subscriber from disturbing the lamp. OR, They send the guys in to stop anyone from finding it too soon. Sorry for the long post and if any of the owners reads this please don't take offense to my thoughts of scams. It would be naive for anyone to believe these types of scams don't exist. I just really hope I'm not right about where this lamp was found, because if I am, then that is a big, big problem. Thanks
I’ll say there are cameras watching every location. Private residential property is off limits as it states in the rules and the current potential winner is being vetted to make sure they followed all rules and requirements. As for the different amounts of $200k and $1.2 million…we as a company decided to do that in order to activate more regions aka more games to win until we could get corporate sponsors. Everything is new, not just to the players but to us as well. I only find out about winners/ lamps being found as the players do, since I just create content around the game and so no one can bribe me to get info on lamp location. That’s the best insight I can give hope it helps!
follow up…the current region is the 2nd region to be valued at $1.2 mill not the only one, the first ever region was also $1.2 mill. Region 4 will activate for $200k (as it shows right in the game) so at this point all values and games are evenly balanced
@@Daveismedia 10-4. I apologize for the scam talk. I mean, I'm still subscribed and will try region 9 I believe which is next to me when it activates. I really hope these people broke the rules, because that really is a bummer😂 I hate to be a sore loser, but I have racked my brain with these clues and the poem. Plus, I'm probably completely wrong about where it was found, but those two guys really did freak me out with what they did. I was even making deals with the ghosts of the people mentioned in the clues😂 I said " Lead me to the lamp and I will donate $50,000 to your memorial". It wouldn't make sense to hide it in this spot, because it is just too public. The other location, further down, would be absolutely BRILLIANT. Plus, it's a location where you would know immediately if someone broke the rules, because it surrounded by private property and there's only one public way in and out and it is very dangerous. I subscribed but i really don't fully understand how to play. There is no real directions on the site. I mean, you get numerous clues, but can you find the treasure with the first Clue, or is the first clue just a hint to the next clue? It's hard to understand. They do give rules, but no directions. Do I have to finish one clue to move onto the next? Does the first clue answer the second clue? Can any 1 clue lead you to the treasure? By the way, I live and play in the southeast region. I THINK I know where to start looking just from the first poem, but I don't even know if that first poem is meant to lead you there or is just a hint to the next clue.
So the poem is useful for the entirety of your treasure hunt…it may lead you astray and also directly to the lamp, it’s supposed to be very difficult. You can solve any clue at anytime and no one clue alone will lead you to the treasure, but solving more of them will get you closer to the destination. Hope that helps! @@Daveismedia Thanks, yes, I was on that most of last night and I was all over the place😂 at least if nothing, I can definitely say I have been learning a WHOLE LOT about certain subjects. I mean, I read the first poem and so help me I think I know where it's talking about and the clues help for smaller details. The way I figure it works is, people that live really close will pick up on clues way more than people who live further from it, because the keywords will make more sense.
