The award-winning Helix Ensemble is a flexible group of experienced musicians from across the East Midlands who perform chamber and small orchestral works. The Helix Ensemble has given first performances of more than 20 compositions since its foundation in 1992, including works by local composers. Helix has won two awards from the Performing Rights Society for their innovative concert programming, with rarely performed works featuring alongside more familiar repertoire.
