Nice engine. I have same one that i have been rebuilding but i am unable to find anywhere that can supply parts. Would you by chance know anyone who can supply parts?
Not knocking this but I wonder if the G forces and shock loading from the weight of the very heavy fly wheel slamming down could break the crank shaft causing it to come flying off?
What direction is this supposed to run in. I have a 1902 Hornsby Ackroyd 3 1/2 hp I cant get it to run in either direction but I dont want smoke coming out of the inlet and filling the workshop when it does eventually decide to run.
+thra5herxb12s it seems like they will run in ether direction... intake become exhaust... I think most people start them by turning it backwards into the compression .
This is a very special machine its a full factory spec,she is running Dymag wheels with full wets,standard adjusters with Ohlins internals,Titanium cylinder and a totally amazing one off Harris chassis !!!!
