Wait a minute. There is nothing wrong with rolling paint ma'am. I'm a professional contractor for 10 years and I can tell you that I prime with the sprayer and roll the final coats of paint. Why are you saying that the paint should not be rolled? When you spray paint (not primer as these are not the same and serve different functions) it's nearly impossible to do touch ups and blend-ins. Maybe you stated it as an opinion but saying to your viewers that they should be wary of contractors who roll the paint is misinformation. Spraying creates a fine mist which no roller or brush can replicate, hence making touch ups difficult. Even exterior paint is sprayed and back rolled to avoid this.
Hey there 🤗, I have contractor’s on my team that only spray, but I agree there is personal preference there. At the end of the day, if you’re painting anything, that’s means you care about your space and that works for me! Thank for watching and your feedback.🤗🤗
@@chastaelaine76 hi, it’s hard for me to truly give guidance here without seeing the space, but utilizing untapped vertical space may help! Thanks for watching. 🤗🤗🤗
@@CarolineGoffredo hi Caroline, the video is several years old, so I don’t know if that specific rug is available. You may find some great end of the season deals on patio rugs. Let me know if you don’t have any luck and I will look for you. Thank you so much for watching!🤗🤗🤗
Not me i don't need all of that i like things straight to the point so i can get everything else done in a less strenuous situation so i can enjoy it. Mine is too congested like its got this unnecessary bar thing that we can't put things on it or use it because we use our living room so ..its going today.
This was great Trish! I am trying to make a focal point in my home and this gave me some more options and helped me narrow down my options to make a decision. When we built our house in 2017, I opted out of the bulky 90s fireplace they wanted to include. Which left me with a weird layout as there is no entry way. You just open the door, step onto the small tile landing and then your in the living room with 4 awkwardly placed windows. Anyways, this video has helped me and I just wanted to say thanks!!!
Your fiddle are beautiful. I have 3 fiddle bamboo plants. They are giving new leaves almost every week. One is almost 4 feet tall the other two are probably 2 - 3 feet tall. Question is can I put all 3 plants in one pot. Running out of room in my living room. They are doing very good at the east window with morning and afternoon sun. I do close the curtain if it’s to much sun coming in. I wipe off all leaves with a wet paper towel and dry them once a month. I watch how watering them. I also take them in the shower they really like that. I turn them once a week . They like it outside in the summer. Other then that I don’t move them they don’t like to be moved. I never fertilized any of my plants. I tried that once lost some. Thank you again. Have a wonderful week ❤
Hi Nancy, are they all in the same area right now? If so, then combining them won’t be too bad of a shock. If they are not, then test one by moving it to the area you want all the figs in. If it starts dropping leaves, then return it back to its previous location. If it must move, then let it sit in its new location a few hours a day and see if you can transition the plant slowly. Once it is no longer in shock, combine them in a larger pot. Without knowing your exact conditions, I don’t have a firm recommendation, but I hope this helps.😊
@@TrishTalkz Hi yes they all are in the same area have not done them yet. Ran up of soil so have to get some later. Thank you so much in replying. Do you have a video on Rubber Burganany, Tineke and Elastica rubber plants. Update decided not to put all3 fiddle plants together.what kind of soil do you recommend to use decided to put all 3 together after all
@@nancymccardle8206 Here is my other plant care video. I hope this helps too!🤗🤗ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Um7-pLBUF18.htmlsi=Z1yN5Vr45QnyM4IS
It’s illegal to block an electric panel with anything & your contractor should’ve told you this, not trying to be an ass but that’s the law, it must be easily accessible in case of an emergency.
Hello, I truly thank you for your response. He did mention that, that why it’s easily accessible. Stay tuned for the final results. Thanks so much for watching!🤗
Hi Trish! I'm an investor, rehabber, and property buyer. Liked what you did with the opened concept. Keep up the great work!! From Detroit, Michigan. 😊
Hey Teamdrummond! Fellow investor and rehabber! I love Detroit. It’s been a while since I’ve been. The people, food, and music was great! Thanks for watching.🤗🤗🤗
I agree that you should personalize your coffee table. 🌸 I love a tray with candles in staggered heights. Then I like to put a vase of fresh flowers. Sometimes it could be a dozen roses or sometimes just one beautiful stem of some greenery or one flower. Also I always have a large “book”, it’s an empty book, other words that looks like a book but on the inside it’s lined with velvet and that doubles as a hideaway for notepads, pens, and remotes, etc., I enjoyed your video and I’m looking forward to more.
I had my lyrata for 3 years in the same spot and didn't give it much attention - it was super fine. Since moving in another home she hates everything I do for her 😂🫠🫠🫠
Hi Moscririna! I know the pain of moving the fig😫 Try to mimic the old conditions of the old location if you can. Then give it time to acclimate. Good luck!🤗
@@TrishTalkz 🥳🥳🥳 I was sure that with your symmetry compulsion, you would put the console, but then I remembered hearing that this is a vacation place and thought who cares about storage in a vacation home 😜👍🏼
I just bought the Ficus Lyrata bush for the first time. I had been seeing it and wanted to give it a try. I found your post trying to research how to care for the plant. Your post was the best and most informative. Thank you.
Hi Paula, I am so happy you found this video helpful. I’m still adding to my fiddle leaf fig collection and loving every minute of it. Do let me know how your plant is doing in a couple of months!🤗🤗🤗
No to a fireplace under a tv. Just doesn't seem right to me. A fireplace is a focal point itself, yet so is a tv an eyecatcher. I'd go for the console.
I don't even know why anyone would think to put mirrors on things other than walls. Granite and Marble will never go out of style. It lasted all of these years from the day of the flood lol. I think the thing that is out of style is faux marble. That is just sad that people put contact paper on their countertops and call it a day. No.
I have just watched several videos on splitting hostas. Yours is by far the BEST! No long winded, unnecessary explanation just to make a longer video. I immediately hit "subscribe". I couldn't agree more with all the recent comments. I look forward to more of your helpful tips. THANK YOU!!
I’m new to growing and caring for hostas. I have a large area in my front yard that is completely bare. I get “some” late afternoon sunlight but the majority of the day my front yard is in the shade. Grass has failed so I’m going to plant hostas. I enjoyed this video a lot. When others spoke of splitting I had no idea what they were saying. I learned a lot from you today. Do you have a video on hosta seeds?
Hey there! You will love your Hosta. They are the plant that keeps giving! No, I don’t have a video on Hosta seeds, but I’ll try planting some from seed next spring. Thanks for the idea and for watching!🤗
