Sheep ,goats ever thought about that ,in the UK some farmers have diversified and gone into producing specialist gourmet cheese using goats and sheep milk ,and getting a reall good income ,so maybe a solution to utilising the land better.
It would be a good idea for you to get all of that vegetation off of your 1517 John Deere rotary cutter so that it doesn’t rot out from the organic acids from the breakdown of all of the organic material on the top of the deck
@@lttl858 the difference is that it takes twice a long, twice as much wear, nearly twice as much fuel, more than twice as likely to poke a hole in a tire,,,if your decision is to go over it 8 times, thats fine with me,,,,but there are benefits to be had and costs to bear,,,,,do you know what brush blades are, as opposed to simple straight bush hog blades???
Just a guess, but I've probably done more brush hogging than you ever thought about. We set up a JD 4950 with 3 20' hyd. mowers & mowed 12k ac. running day & night. When I mow, the field will be clean and done right. The brush he was mowing has to be gone over twice to suit me. So the tires and equipment will be exposed 2 times. If doing a crappy job is ok with you, by all means go for it.@@bill45colt
mowed the same ground 4 times over,,,,why not just let bucket down and mower down and go forward so you can see what you are doing and go as slow as tractor will pull it,,,,,ive mowed heavy sapplings 7ft tall and as thick as you have here without having to look over my shoulder,,,,
Great job! I am amazed at your flawless control over that big boy. Love how smoothly you back into those bushes in a very straight line. Also, the before and after shots are great. Yeah, maybe do some more mowing sounds, and leave the music till the before and after. Just my personal preference, but I loved the video! ❤️
Lol I have to say it you burn brush you cut bush that’s why they call it a bush hog all in fun I got a chuckle out of this good job on cutting your grass
