I’m 54 years old and for the better part of my life I always used conventional cleaning methods. A few years ago I bought several bore snakes and would follow the directions which was very easy. I thought this is an easy way and seemed to do a good job. Last weekend I decided to get my old cleaning supplies out consisting of brushes hoppes 9 Ballistol and patches. All my firearms took forever to clean apparently the bore snakes were just packing gunk in instead of cleaning it out. When using conventional cleaning methods years past usually just a few passes and the guns would be clean. No more bore snakes for me they just make you feel like you’re cleaning the gun.
Get 20rd GI mags with big bore followers or hexmags with the chamber tactical big bore followers and download them to only 4-5 rounds. Getting the Tromix bolt from Tromix helps too.
I do have an update, sadly just no video on it yet. I have been able to put a few boxes through it and it has been running much better. My first .458 upper from them never needed any break In but this one did.
@@Diluted_Knowledge how many rounds through it before it “broke in”. I have 10 rounds through mine and still jamming. Also, when dry running ammo through are you still seeing the misfeed issue even after breaking it in
Thanks for watching! I sadly don’t have that one anymore. The grip is super easy to install. Just a couple screws, pop off the old ones and slide on the new one.
I would guess that BCA uppers are a little out of spec on the ammo. Bullet may be seated too far in. Ran into this issue if you don’t properly seat bullet height to your gun. This is why the drop test is the way to go vs just a regular cartridge checker. I would say the ammo is dangerous to be using with the bad head spacing.
So I’m wondering why you took the caps off of the scope and what’s the point of the handle on the rope? Oh yeah and every few quick cleans like this I break down that bolt and clean that.
I took the caps off because with them on the bolt handle hits them. There really isn’t a point to the handle on the rope really. It’s a good idea to break the bolt down like you say! Thanks for the comment and watching!
I picked up a FLIGHTCOM box which is basically the exact same thing. Have really only seen good reviews for beginner system, but I’ll take that over the $1200-$1500 set up any day. Really don’t need to talk to outside my RZR anyway. Nice video.
I just received mine as well as 2 of their headsets but i am disappointed, i only receive music as well as voice in only one ear, both headsets, both inputs same and of coarse they wouldnt be available to contact on the weekend. Hope this sound in only one ear crap isnt normal.
It fits perfectly between the front seat belts. The rubber seat belt boots hold it in place pretty well. You could add some Velcro to the back of it and stick it there.

Just popped up. It’s quite obvious you are not familiar with SA only pistols like the 1911 and 1911ish. Hope you put many rounds down range prior to EDC or you will get yourself in trouble. I only carry 1911 or 1911ish pistols but I do love to shoot others at the range, but muscle memory is key, as you draw and point, your thumb comes down on the safety. Practice that at the range, even if it’s from a low ready. And I do not recommend two different manual of arms on EDC, just looking for trouble.
great video. funny thing is i have a 300 upper, a 7.62, a 22 and a few 556's and i was ignorant to the 450 and 458. im gonna look into them now! it up brother i like the firepower and i love the case!
