Great video, Beth! It’s so fun to see your family working all together, building the business. I’m excited to see how everything progresses for the Flower Farm and Nursery. But, I already know it will be a huge success 🌻 I wished I lived closer. Have a great week - From Arizona 🌵
Greetings! I am going to purchase some dried flowers and your book. Would it be possible to get it signed? I would be willing to pay extra. I found you in a low place in my life after losing my dad. You have reignited my love for gardening and flowers. Thank you for that!
I love that your brother and his family have moved there to work along with you. I have a brother that lives out of town, and I would love to be able to spend that much time with him. No doubt your brother is a hard worker. I wish you all much success!!
I love this video! I am so excited for all of you and the hope that you have for your nursery. The Cottage Flower Studio is turning into a wonderful place. I have had hopes of going out to visit and those hopes are even stronger. Beth thanks for explaining how to make the dry flower bouquet. I'm heading over to Charles Little and Company and going to give it a try! Have a wonderful week growing your Studio!
I’d love love to see more videos with arrangements that are foam free 💚. I too love to make farewell flowers and I am always looking for more untraditional examples and specifically those without foam 🥰
Oh Mrs. Beth, I hate cliff hangers. I completely understand. Everything Crowley House puts out the door is amazing and gorgeous! I am so excited about the new adventure with the nursery! What about Emma? I know she got married. She seemed like she really enjoyed working with the flowers. Her and Riley seemed like they enjoyed working together creating something rare and beautiful!! Sending love and best wishes to everyone at Crowley House Farm.
It’s going to be beautiful Beth. For the past week we have been hammered with high temps which are really unusual for this time of year for us and gale forced winds. Yesterday I spent the day putting up fabric shields to protect our flowers from the hot NW gale force winds we are having. Sadly all of our tulips have just jumped straight to flower on short stems due to this crazy weather. Sinus OMG from the flowering wattle around the forest blowing in and covering everything including us. I can’t wait to see your shop/studio. Love your videos. Thanks for sharing :) Cheers Theresa - Australia
Big project! Big mess! 😅 but will be great when done. Beth, i have a question. I live down the freeway. I cleaned up a flower bed and found alot of tulip bulbs. Is it ok to put them back in the ground? Or should I keep them over to fall?
Hi at 3:07 in this video, when your daughter is closing the trunk , what bush is that yellow one on the right side ? Is it blooms or it,s leaf color? Thanks
Beth! I found your channel about a month ago. Have been binge watching ever since. Looking forward to seeing your new projects and sending best wishes from Ohio!
Beth I think of all the nurseries I go to and the small ones with a personal touch are the ones I return to. One that I visit is a nursery that I went to as a child with my uncle who was an avid gardener. They are still in the same small building and their plants are awesome. Good luck in your venture. 😊
Thank you for saying so, this makes me feel so much better, I do think it will turn out well in the end but will take a lot of work and just getting the word out.
You have an amazing harvest. I have a tiny gala tree, and the apples are ravaged by coddling moth they last few years. I wrapped the apples in stockings one year, but I'm not willing to do that anymore. I just cut away the damaged bits and get what I get.
What a nice bunch of apples. my trees are relatively new so only a few pounds of apples. i do a lot of crab apples though. I slice apple slices ff the core and flash freeze for eating and baking with during winter (they are quite good partially frozen) and make vinegar and/or apple juice from the cores. I also make quite a bit of juice, apple sauce and jelly. if I have lots, I will dehydrate as well. Everything looked delicious
You are such a champ to hand peel, core and slice those apples! I invested in a (fairly inexpensive) apple peeler, corer and slicer and absolutely LOVE it! Makes these kind of projects go much faster!
Hello - I’m not sure where Beth purchased the seeds, but I purchase geranium seeds from Swallowtail Garden Seeds. They grow really well and it’s fun to be able to grow geraniums from seed. I learned about it from Laura at Garden Answer… she has videos about starting them from seed. Have fun!
