Are you meaning a bow in the plane? Sometimes you have to have an acceptable deviance. Try to use screws that are a minimum of twice the depth of the material you are fastening.
🤔So I see in the comments everyone says nail joist in place so that they are all flush, then bucket. what if one side is the floor and the other side a ceiling how would you make sure they both plane ? Split the difference or check every piece and rip it ? ☠️
First of all, dont have junior as your cut man. A good cut man will cull shitty joists and use on beams or along an endwall. Most of the commentors havent done it long enough to know much better. Wanna compare experince ? Lets go.
