i had a 2020 q50 tuned by ecutek and downpipes on 93 and my boy spanked me in his 2016 mustang gt manual. i sold that pos and got a 2017 mustang gt 😉 haven’t lost to a q shitty yet
You don’t own a car lol, mustangs are not that great buddy, I have won’ against a few in my VQ35DE and with the VR30DDTT I know for a fact intercooler and intakes with a ecutek tune at 15 psi boost your left in the dust
Hey Gilbert. I know this is old but i have a question about changing the plugs. Do i need to change the ignition coils as well or i will be fine just changing out the spark plugs only?
Nah u will be fine... unless u chamge plugs and still have a misfire... but lets say u have a misfire in cylinder 1 (after plugs changed) , then grand cylinder 1s coild and put it in cylinder 3.. if the misfire moves to cylinder 3 then kts your coil pack. And kt of persist after u change both then might be a bad injector. Just food for thought
@@gilbertbernal41 ok great. Recently, my Q50 was lagging while accelerating about a month ago. Once I got back to my home, i turned off the car and turned it back on then drove it around the block. It was fine. It happened again couple of days ago. Then i noticed when i tried to turned on my car for the first time, the power went completely out. I thought it was the battery. It wasn’t the battery. The car came right on when i tried again. I changed the air filter and clean the MAF yesterday to see if that changed anything. I noticed my car was struggling to turn on. This morning i checked to see if it would Crank without anything issues, same thing happened and it sounded like it was misfiring. I knew it had to be the spark plugs. I was told i might need to replace the ignition coils, too.
@gilbertbernal41 ok so u gapped a manual m3.. tbh if it was auto it would have left you in the dust. Sure you’re FBO but M3s gap q50’s all the time. Infact, the 340i gaps them with just a downpipe and its the same price..
@user-yk5eg8qf5k lmao yea i own one now. 🤣 my q50 still gapped a bunch of M3 auto and manual. My q50 was 38k and had less the. 8k in mods lol 😆 just fyi and my current bmw is near 800 hp on stock motor. Something the Q50 cant do. But dont hate on that platform is does really well
@@MarlonAllen-dy9yv you can look online and find videos lol ofc I have how are you going to tell me the scat is heavier I have headers into a down pipe and fully straight pipe aem cold air intakes and 18 inch rims I’m alot lighter once we launch I always leave them behind would you like to race ?
