F8 indicates the stairlift is out of level and will need re-levelling and reprogramming. Unfortunately you will need an engineer visit for this type of problem. I hope you get sorted. Kind regards Justin

@@unicornstairlifts Does it matter ? Reason why I ask in this way is because I want to know simply for a certain spec of the product what's the hardware costs ? And I should NOT expect that price to differ in a big way unless of course there's (non product related) factors at play which exaggerates/distorts the actual cost of a certain spec of the product ?! So assume for a moment I buy this stairlift for installation in UK, then based on my stated measurements above what will be a fair price to expect ?
Hola, lo siento, pero lamentablemente no ofrecemos nuestras sillas salvaescaleras en el extranjero, así que no podemos ayudar esta vez. Espero que te arregles.
I love my stairlift, but EVERY time I use it, I think ‘can’t this go just a bit faster’? Not racing speed, just a touch. I came to this site to see if there would be a suggestion to do that.
Hello Janene, stairlifts are generally set to steady and safe speed. Unfortunately the speed can not be altered. If you feel the stairlift is running very slow and you've had it installed for a few years then the carriage batteries may need replacing.
By far one of the worst videos I've ever seen. There is no actual information been given. If you cut your rail with only the measurements from nose to floor your patience will be jumping from their chair to get onto the top landing
Hello, I understand your frustration but they need to travel at a safe speed. Sometimes stairlifts can progressively get slower over time and may require replacement batteries. How long have you had the stairlift and have you replaced the batteries? Kind regards
@@bedbugbear420 to be fair it's probably a little too old. Maybe best taking it to the scrap yard unfortunately you would get aroung £40. But maybe first try it putting on Ebay, Facebook or Gumtree first to see if you gain any interest. If not they are fairly straight forward to disassemble (plenty of videos on RU-vid)

Do you sell the arms for this stairlift? Mine is broken and needs to be replaced. It's the one with the metal pin that makes the stairlift move, not the blank side.

The Acorn 180 stairlift can take up to 260 pounds (18.9 stone) so should hopefully be suitable. Anything over that then you will need an heavy duty curved stairlift. Hope this help's.
