Thank you for a nice review. It is very helpful that beside showing the hotel you speak about the places and things. Can I ask you how crowded the hotel was in October? Was it something like 60-70% occupancy or more? How was the weather in October, I will be in this hotel at the very end of October and I am wondering if temperature still hits 30 degrees sometimes?

@@holgie1705 The hotel is wonderful, at a very high level. The staff are very nice and helpful, the food is delicious, the pools are great, the beach is also huge, there is a bar with a stage - during the day a DJ and in the evening a music show. Alcoholic cocktails of many kinds, bartenders can surprise. Bars with delicious coffees. Guests are calm, there are no drunk or aggressive people. This is a hotel for relaxation. I recommend this hotel. If you have any questions, I will help.
Just went through customs here and it was the worst ever in my travels! Took almost 2 hours. Traffic is ridiculous. I probably will just turn around and go back to the airport, recommend avoiding this country. On top of it all they scanned my Uber for bombs at the hotel. Ugh
Sounds like you had a good visit. A rainy Sunday afternoon January going to see it very quiet. The place is absolutely packed in the summer when you have cruise ships coming in, tour busses from the coast. Queensway marina is very nice, there is another one Ocean Village which is closer to the border. Ocean Village is a bit more superficial and appeals to a younger crowd. Since you visited, cars no longer cross the runway but you can still walk across it. Road traffic now go via the Kingsway tunnel which opened not long after you were there. Also its expected by this time next year for the passport checks to end as Gibraltar is very close to entering Schengen.
Well made but superficial. No visit to Gibraltar is complete without walking on and visiting some of the attractions on the Rock, such as the Great Siege Tunnels and St Michael's Cave.

I loved your video and it further excites me when I visit the area in April. The camerawork is excellent and the background music adds to the scenery. A suggestion to better document the video is to place a subtitle of the locations you present in the video or film a sign of the place visited. All in all a worthwhile video. Thanks!
What a ridiculous statement “ one of the few places you can walk round is Camps Bay “ Cape Town is very dangerous. I have visited South Africa many times and have toured most of the country and have never had a problem.If all you want to do is belittle South Africa then I suggest you stay in your home country. By the way I am not South African but a lover of Africa and it’s people
@@bendodsworth7915 it was actually in the city centre, 5 minutes away from Protea North Wharf. He went alone to get something for lunch and took one of the quieter streets - there was another person who started walking fast towards my husband. He suddenly crossed the street and tried to tackle/push my husband - luckily, he was able to dodge and jump away and run away as fast as he can.
