Welcome to the Mental Family. We want you to know that no matter who you are, you're not alone.
Really Mental is a podcast breaking down the universal issues young adults face coping with mental health, identity & self esteem. Through open and honest conversations about their journey, we host fellow young people (you might call them Gen Z + Young Millennials) that are living in the spotlight during the age of ever-present social media. Really Mental hopes to highlight that no matter who you are, we all face similar experiences on the path to finding ourselves.

Thanks for a wonderful interview. I've watched these boys grow and they seem to be so well rounded. Coming from a village of 900 people to traveling the world and then going back home. They shine a light on an industry that can be brutal.
I only have one person that i can trust and that is my best friend she is the one i can be 100% my self when I’m with her I live with my mom and dad and of course I talk to them about stuff but not as much as I talk to my best friend. I can’t live without her.❤❤❤if she didn’t exist I would never be as happy as i am today ❤❤❤
Thanks. Honestly I needed to hear that. Both of my childhood best friends who I grew up with for 17 years. So suddenly they stopped talking to me, and blocked me on everything. It kinda really hurts.
it’s more about learning the difference between your anxiety that’s maybe holding you back saying “no” from something or if it’s your instinct actually saying “no”.
This is weakness, dont listen, if you want it go get it. Anxiety is just part of the process, you think great people didn’t get anxious? The difference between you and greatness is how you react to your emotions, not your emotions themselves.
she randomly popped into my mind, i remember when she first started becoming popular and i was wondering where she ended up. it’s sad what she’s been through but i hope she is doing ok, people know her name so if she ever feels ready to come back then no doubt she’ll get that fame again. i hope for her sake she lives a more normal life but still takes advantage of the connections she’s made to help her career.
Codependency is manipulation. That's because the end result is about you(You pretend that you want everything and everyone to be ok so that you can feel good).. It doesn't stem from a genuine space.
It's ok to be human bro. Don't let bs stop you from growing happy and healthy for you. In the word's of Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd; "Be something you love and understand"
