Showing an above ground "Storage Facility" for natural gas serves to mislead the general public. It is impractical to store any significant volume of methane (dry gas) above ground, thus most methane is stored underground. Many average consumers/viewers are thinking of their home use methane as being synonymous with natural gas. If you are using the premise that liquified gas is all that goes into these tanks, you should have made that point clear, it is instead not even mentioned.
Natural gas isn't clean and abundant. It still contributes to climate change. We are better off using wind, solar, hydro, hydrogen batteries. Those are clean energy, that can be regulated by government to be made by domestic jobs. And it would create thousands more jobs.
And leaks during most of those steps. Fossil gas is inefficient and contributes to the climate crisis during both production and consumption. As a method for generating it is a substantial improvement on coal, but still needs to be phased out once the coal (and the few petroleum ) plants go. Fortunately fossil gas power plants can and will still be able to utilize carbon neutral biogas. For now and moving forward we need to use more electric (and induction electric) stoves and cooking appliances and use both electric space and water heating systems to minimize our emissions to overcome the climate crisis. Fossil gas has a part to play, but it's days are numbered, the infrastructure should realize this and work on making the transition.
