Simply put, We love the outdoors, camping, backpacking, fishing, hunting, or just plain being outside. If there's an opportunity to go do something, we'll do it. The adventures are waiting and are too great not to share. Plus, there will be dogs and food.
Hey! My parents move us up to Boise in 96. Been fishing the river with spin rods, but my in laws got me a fly rod and home tied flies. I was skeptical, but after watching you - you've convinced me! Love the content.
That's awesome! I wouldn't consider myself very good at fly fishing. It takes a lot of patience and practice but when you catch a fish for the first time, it is a wild time
Any river where you can fall and bust your ass on the way to it is going to be awesome. It eliminates the pedestrian anglers. I love the camera angles! Those steaks looked amazing. What a sick trip and an amazing edit. Pure production value.
Fantastic job, Suzie! I always love the Suzie takeovers. That spot was so amazing it was worth sharing with the "crowd." Awesome brook trout!! Sam makes one heck of a mule. Awesome trip!!
Very well done! We have been looking to go as a family for years and in 2 weeks it looks like we will be blessed with the opportunity! Would love trail recommendations for these types of views.
Great video - thank you! Is there a lot of route-finding on the way up? Some parts of the video looked like pure scrambling - no trail. Did you use a GPS tool for route-finding or did you wing it? Thanks so much!
Ditto @12:10. The spectrum of colors made me think I could do this. NOT!!! I would have a helo drop me off for the overnight camping but too many years on this earth to even foolishly consider this trek. Thanks for bringing me a Great View of Idaho that I never would have seen if it were not for your video.
Insane man. Such killer bows. Do you have any documentation of the hike in? I’d love to do this. Looks like you drive past Alturas and get to the trailhead that way.
Why thank you! It was such a crazy trip. Here is the link to the whole trip. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vyLRFOUS4T4.html It's a decent hike with a good elevation gain, however; we saw very few people on the trip. Worth the long drive
Thanks for the great video and I love the creativity off trail:). We hit the Sawtooth's and White Clouds this past year. I loved the water in July but the bugs were BRUTAL! Our return trip in late September was bug free and we lucked out with incredible weather. We hit Antz Valley with the bluest skies and not a cloud in the sky and the fall colors on the ride in were amazing! Honestly, this part of the country could be the most scenic in the US. If you are ever looking for a great (and affordable) base in Stanley; the Stanley RV & Basecamp Lodge was INCREDIBLE!
This is the first video I've watched from you, and I am impressed. I have been eye-balling Mt Borah for sometime now and really want to do it. "Freakin Steep" is an understatement according to the video, but that doesn't scare me ;) Chicken Out Ridge sure lives up to its name and I will take your advice to take it slow. Giving me the motivation to FINALLY add this to my 2024 365 mile hiking challenge list, and to join the club. Looking forward to watching additional videos you'll have done. May the road rise to meet you.
Why thank you! I'm excited that you're going to give it a try next year. I think you'll great. We always start super early in the morning to give us ample time. And of course, hydration is always important. I made another video about Borah where we camped on top of the mountain. I was able to capture so beautiful footage. If you like this video, you definitely will like that one. Have a wonderful 2024
Thank you! I think your mini would do just fine. If the weather holds out for ya, I'd say go for it. Plus, that sweet sweet drone footage is great to have
wow this is a great video, I was considering trying the climb next weekend, I think I'm gonna have to wait til next year lol. but I truly enjoyed your video. thank you for sharing your adventure, and for the tips about the climb.
Hi. found your channel through Dpuck Fishing and Outdoors channel. wanted to stop by to check out your channel and show some support. subbed! that climb up Borah was amazing and the views from the top were awesome! but camping up there, that's another level. must have been fun. I cannot imagine the
Right on! Yeah, Dug is a good guy. Thanks for checking out the channel. I will be sure to check out yours. It was an amazing time but definitely rough. Took the legs a few days to recover. Thanks again for watching
Excellent film making skills drone footage was killer love to do collaboration with you guys when I get the other snowchopper done “Bootlegger” beer run to Mooseknuckle or Schweitzer Mtn or maybe both 🤘🏻
Hey Scott!! I'm happy you enjoyed it. Absolutely we should but Cody is the wiz behind the drone. We are planning on making a trip up to the north for Christmas this year. I think that would be a blast of a time!
