The version that debuted in 1989 is EASILY one of his most popular, if not THE most popular design Godzilla has ever had. Two things set that design apart: First, the two outer rows of spines were extended until they were nearly as tall as the middle row (most versions only have them about a third as tall), but the second and bigger reason that suit design is so popular is the design of his head and face. People love this face design because of how FERAL it looks: Godzilla looks like he wants to kill literally everything that moves.
2:10 the actor who played Godzilla has played Godzilla many other time And it was hell inside that suit first of all it weighed a lot and it was extremely hard to move around in it without tripping and falling and also it was hot in there like so hot the actor inside was sweating so much you could pour his sweat into a cup after just 10 minutes inside and after they had stopped filming the actor lost 5 pounds but he still enjoyed the experience.
Fun fact... at one point in the original 1954 movie, Godzilla attacks the very theater that the premiere of the movie was shown in. So a number of the audience was so wrapped up in the movie that when they saw him start to destroy the very building they were in, they ran out screaming. It was like 3-4 people but that's how real it was for them. Have to remember, Godzilla is an analogue for the nuclear devastation that they experienced in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Godzilla was 9 years later. So it was still VERY raw for the entire country. The beauty of genre film is that it creates a degree of separation from reality that allows the audience to process very current and real world issues. Godzilla 1954 is one of the most important films in Japanese cinema history because it was the first film that really talked about that horror. In very much the same way that The Dark Knight helped Americans process the 9-11 attack, Gojira helped Japan start to deal with the end of WW2 and the nuclear bombings.
2:43 It's 20 pounds of pure sweat-loss. You will be dehydrated and feel awful, plus Haruo Nakajima passed out on many occasions filming the first movie.
Godzilla Earth does have one of the best beam and the strongest beam but he didn't showed that, you will need to look that up since that beam destroyed an asteroid the size of moon
No because shin is not that much smarter than the godzilla we have now shin would lose he’s slow and he got token down by humans and humans could not even take down godzilla and godzilla is taller than shin
He was suppossed to be stopped if not he would have consumed and replaced the whole universe. Just look at the evolution phases sheet. Shin was about to become a swarm hive mind like entity at the end of it's movie. He is considered more powerfull in terms of power cap. He has none.
Why do you have to talk over the characters while they deliver lines? Do you think you have to explain everything, that we can't figure anything? Just my opinion...
He's reaction are genuine.. That was my same reaction when I saw how Omniman squeeze Red Rush head I was wtf!? What just happened ? What m I watching right now ? 😂 that was just first episode and after it enden I just stood there in the couch for a few minutes numb...My Girlfriend was like Are you ok ?.. I just couldn't came out with a straight answer right away.
I'm watching this a year later and this is annoying. You don't know what is going on even while watching. You don't know who some of the ppl are and you must comment on everything u see. Car, tree, rock, batman, sky...e.t.c🙄
They should have made it another kaiju in the Godzilla universe. Like Americans called it Godzilla because we'd never seen the one from Japan and thought that was who attacked the city...then make it be just a giant lizard, and the real Godzilla still be in Japan.
CYBER GODZILLA was the reanimated corpse of the 1998 GODZILLA from a two-part episode of the Animated Series. The GMK Godzilla always had pure white eyes, as that version of the character was possessed by the spirits of all killed by the Japanese Army during WWII.
Cyber Godzilla, or Cyber Zilla as I call him, is the original 1998 Godzilla revived by aliens and turned into a cyborg to conquer earth but was defeated by Zilla Jr.
10:16 That's Godzilla vs Destoroyah in which his heart, a nuclear reactor, is going into meltdown and he's in so much pain that he's randomly rampaging.
It very much did!! But in general it was a good concept and the cartoon represented 1998s hidden potential very well. (I think tohou liked the animated series but hated the movie)
right when strange casts the spell and they show that universal like time line for a second its incredible. Cause had the TVA still been active thats when they would of showed up to prune the time line and take peter and strange away
