If only the streets were paved (not with Gold) with Black asphalt!! I abhor the cement coloured bricks tile effect!! Makes the place look like an industrial park estate than a high end residential area! That's why i prefer the old Ikoyi over Banana Island any day! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!!
Glad you're a Black guy, the other Lagos vids, I could have sworn he was a Black man, come to see he is not😅. Anyway, hope one day your Country gets much better resources . example roads, stop and go signs. Oh! Amazing how Nigerian carry their heads!! 😂
How can this be happening in a country that produces oil??? Where are the government or governors??? What is going on in Nigeria for heaven sake??? There's no light, the whole place is total darkness 😢. Who voted for this rogues??? This is very SAD AND VERY SHAMEFUL!!!! How can you treat those that voted for you like this???? OMG 😲 😱 😲!!! Nigeria government, all the senators, you all travel abroad. Is any country you guys have travelled to are like this???.Shame on the government, all of you!!!
Lagos, Nigeria still remain a Ghetto all these years. Look at the shameless condition of their roads, the filth on the side walk, and the open sewage gutters. Ghettos are the same everywhere you go.They all have one thing in common - they STINK. If you want to meet drivers from Hell. Go to Lagos, Nigeria. Drivers of the yellow public transport regularly disregard the traffic lights when it shows RED. Don't even bother using the Zebra crossing. There is No point because 98% of Nigerian drivers in the city Lagos will NEVER stop for pedestrians at any Zebra crossing. What a shame!😢😢😢
People why are you using such old taxis are they safe. Do they have permission to be on the road. The way they are there any traffic regulations in place in the country if there who enforces them.I see taxis moving with doors open.Another enquiry why are vehicles and people moving same time. I don't see pedestrians given an opportunity to move danger free .Why are the vendors putting their goods in the street not on pavements to allow spaces for vehicles and pedestrians.
@@4K-WALK-LAGOS-VIDEOS I will truly appreciate if you can visit Bayeku in Igbogbo Ikorodu, specifically Maternity bus stop, the street directly opposite maternity bus stop called Adeyemi Adesoye or Cooperative Estate Alausa, The street beside Joy Cometh especially the tail end of it, Bayeku waterfront and the environs. Like i said, i will truly appreciate it. Thanks for what you do as always.
Yes, let’s walk on the busy highway next to the loony bin. I’d be scared to be on that road. Oh yeah and put a bizarre next to a busy highway and try to get reeds up the hill. What a great idea. No wonder the 1st world country’s don’t take Nigeria seriously.
Oh my! I was expecting you to wait right outside my house at Rasaq Balogun, still as calm and clean, there used to be a barrow path opposite Dodo Williams that leads to stadium, think they blocked it, ,I was born here 50 years ago, my husband grew up at Ojuelegba, he tells me he used to walk around here and see children in locked up gates, I told him, he must have seen me back then 😂, thank you for lovely memories.
Thank you so much for this video. I lived in the Queens street/Akinwunmi/Moleye area from 1968-1979. 99% of the houses of that time are gone. I could not believe how that area has changed. I wanted to see some specific areas and you walked all of them. Watching from California.
Thanks for this video. I lived in these areas during the 1960s - 1970s. Sabo market was our local market. There are a lot of changes but I still recognise a lot of the old buildings. The Methodist church has been there for ever. Well done keep up the good work 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿.
Thanks so much for these blessed memories. Please don't forget the other part of Surulere like:- Oyekan street, Awoyemi close, Ayinde Giwa street, Sholeye crescent, Mbonu Ojike close, James Robertson Road, Ogunlana Drive - (Bus corner - Masha end) etc. Thank you😂😂😂
Thank you for this great effort. You've evoked so many missing memories of my early days. It's been over 40 years since i left Nigeria. If like me, you were a product of (SBS) Surulere Baptist School, Modupe Johnson Cres, you would be familar with these routes. In my day, the houses along Tafawa Balewa crs/ Mba Street/ Razaq Balogun all had flower-beds and plants as building boundries as opposed to bricks and tall iron gates they have now. Thank God the road (Tafawa Balewa Cres) still fared better than other parts of Surulere unlike Ayilara/ Clegg and Ibidun streets that have now become an eye sore and a REBUKE of the Lagos state government(s) past and present . Thank you for showing Adebola Street, where we used to play after-school soccer matches every afternoon.🎉🎉🎉😂
Hello, Thanks for sharing the latest sights and sounds of Lagos interior places with us. PLEASE, can you visit a place called Bayeku in Igbogbo ikorodu? I'd love to see the maternity bus stop axis, Adeyemi Adesoye street opposite maternity bus stop and the environs, McCaulay bust stop,Giasudeen Oladega street till the end and possibly the waterfront. Thanks
I'm sorry, but this is horrible the way people walk on a highway where cars are speeding by. It's dangerous as hell. Nice memories it's been so long back home
Videos are great and i am a subscriber. Just wish u would put more context like commentary and brief description of where u are, what are the changes. Just the whole dynamic
Please get a stabilizer for your phone. It will stop the video from bouncing up and down when you are walking. Stabilizers are relatively cheap nowadays. As it is now, it is difficult to watch for too long.
🎉thanks so much for taking me back to Adeniji street after 38 years. I would not have recognized the street i spent my youth at. A lot of changes. Stay blessed.
