I recently got a sample of this from luckyscent and it just smells synthetic on my skin. Should I give it more time to macerate? Does it get better? Or does it just stay in the artificial/plasticy state?

I enjoyed this I did my makeup today for my daughter baby shower . I should’ve put on mascara . I felt like I was looking casket ready I put on one size mattyfying setting spray. I should’ve put Milani make it last over it . But my makeup stayed on over 4 hrs and it didn’t transfer it was waterproof because we were outside and it rained a little bit.
