Hi All! I'm a long time employee of the Rocky Point, NY School District. I started here in 1988 and captured Video events that went on during my tenure. I've taped Musicals, drama productions, sporting events and many other events. I retired in 2011 but I still did Tech for the Musicals for a few more years. As most videos were filmed on VHS tapes, my goal is to digitize much of what's important during those years and publish them here on You Tube. I hope you get a chance to look back in time and check out the great productions we have done in the past! The quality back in those days wasn't great but if you were involved at any level I'm sure you'll enjoy seeing yourselves...my first students in these videos are closing in on 50 years old! Time flies! Please like the channel and remark where appropriate. Thank you and Enjoy!
This was a very well produced version of"The Sound of Music,"and one could see that a lot of effort and time was put into it.Thank You,for sharing this show! I appreciated the comments at the end of the young woman who said played a nun,and got out of her habit and couldn't hug the lead.
Hello Mr. Spina. Ron Short here (class of 1995). I really enjoyed this trip back down memory lane and love the videos that you have already posted. Would be interested to know if you have any other media from my class (the graduation ceremony in particular). Either way, thank you for keeping some of the most amazing memories of my youth alive. :)
Hey Joe thanks for posting these all these great old videos. By any chance u have any soccer games from 89-90 years. Thanks for any info in advance Nick
If Mrs. Crute lived at 149, that is currently "Chris the Lawnmower man";'s house.!! 151 is closer to Short Lane but it was not there in 1961 according to 1961 aerial map. That house is probably way older than that too. I'd say early 1900's. I wonder who built it. Oh and Sal passed away March 31, 2022.. He was 90. <3 (public record say it was built in 1890 so I was close)
I agree. Still unsolved, hmmn? Was there video of that night? Is it still evidence? Statute's up, but I'd love to solve the drama mystery which began my theatre career! :-)
