Finding a ramp cat was strange, and the dead salmon were stinky, but a beautiful place otherwise. A great spot to free camp at this park along the Columbia and a great view of Mount Hood 💜
I agree. Its a salmon spawning spot. Celilo Park used to be 20 ft falls there until the Dalles Dam killed that. They did build a fish ladder and installed a nice park where the natives can harvest their catches of massive amounts of salmon that will sustain their culture and bodies for sustenance all winter. 💜
