I’m wondering if you could help me out lol. My Vulcan s was painted recently and I’m not sure which way to connect the vent hoses that run off of the left of the gas tank. The hoses aren’t marked, I think they’ve been changed in the past. One hose is real long and runs down the back an out by the kickstand. There is a blue dot on the bottom of the tank next to one of the ports. Would you be able to tell me the correct way to connect the hoses to the ports? Thank you your videos are great.
I’m not 100% sure which hoses you’re talking about, but if I’m thinking correctly, they are overflow hoses. I don’t think they connect to anything. But again I’m not entirely sure which ones you are talking about so I’m not sure I’m the best opinion. You could always try to start the bike, see if any fluids come out of those hoses immediately or any oil and if so, they definitely need to be hooked up. If nothing comes out, it might just be overflow when the bike gets hot.
@@Kodyssey I’m pretty sure one is a vent hose and maybe and overflow hose? I’m not sure either they were connected when the tank was originally removed, I’m just not sure which order they go in to hook them back up lol. Thank you for your help tho
Glad you liked it. Never played it when I was younger so it was a lot of fun to explore something like this. Definitely ahead of its time. Despite my grumbles it was very well put together and consist.

Hah! That’s fine my friend! Gloves and Jacket are not accessories to the bike, they are apparel that we riders wear. We all know to dress for the slide, not the ride!
I cant imagine the 57 inch in my space. ive got the 49 and its just perfect. At the time i bought it, i had a lot of money to spend so im glad i didnt go insane and get the 57. the 49 was hard enough to setup by myself. I cant IMAGINE tryijng to setup the 57 alone LOL AND id have had to put hte pc either on its own desk or on the floor(which i dont want to ever do again! lol) also the 32 by 9 just doesnt work exactly right with a lot of games.
The 57” wasn’t bad to pick up alone. Just had to get it from the center, not the sides. But yes you’re right, that 57 is cumbersome a lot of the time when trying to get your setup to work around it

I LOVE that clock lol. It was my grandfathers. As for the evolution, I do not have that bike anymore. I miss having a bike, but not that one. I have a few in mind for my next, both cruiser and crotch rocket.
So I am no expert in specs but if I get this monitor, I wouldn’t be able to play GTA V Full graphics at max resolution 5k at 240fps because the 4090 doesn’t support it? I have an intel i9 14900kf, 4090 alienware. And max fps I can get COD running is 120fps? with black bars at both sides and if i put it PBP, streamlabs one side 60fps and cod on next side i can get only up to 120fps at nice graphics?
Well, I’ve apparently rattled a few people with my comment of it not running 4K at 120. I don’t know much about DSC (display stream compression), but it seems you may be able to run 4K at 240. Idk about 5K. I had that monitor for 1 week and sold it to get my OLED monitor back. I should have kept for a bit longer to run more tests. If people hadn’t mentioned anything about DSC, my answer would be a straight NO, you can’t run it past 120 on 4K let alone 5K. But I know nothing about DSC or how that works. Might wanna do a bit more DD on this matter before taking my word for it. I’m sorry, I know this isn’t much help
7680x2160 at 120hz is the max I’ve heard from reviewers with the 4090. For PBP it should able to run 4k 240hz if you have the right settings. My reference is I was able to set my PC to 4k 120hz doing PBP, that’s the most my gaming laptop can set.
I believe you have to get the 7900XTX to utilize the ultra wide at 240hz, I guess it already has the right software or something but I've seen youtubers showing that. Honestly, it sounds like the perfect monitor for a 5090 for ultrawide gaming.
what stand was used for this monitor ? thanks. I'm running this monitor on Star citizen , BF4 , Mw3 on a 3090ti monitor is set to 240hz , 1.4 DP , DP 1.4 cable , Turn off HDR , adaptive sync on , Change your settings in windows as well , all @ 5120 x 1440p
Yeah, I didn’t keep it because I went back to OLED. Hard to go back to anything else. I made a separate video after this explaining what I used for a mount.
Poor design by Nelson. The straps should have one end male and the other female so you can clip them together over the seat when they aren't being used.
Note to self: learn about reviewing a monitor before reviewing said monitor in other words use it first learn it first, then review it you can get 4k putting it in the center on every game
To help protect the paint from the straps, you can get 3M paint protection film. It does work well. Easy to put on and easy to take off. Doesn't harm the paint at all.
As much as LED mods are associated with “ricer” in the car community, I feel like it’s definitely a must have for bikes as a safety precaution to stand out in traffic at night.
Before doing this, check with your local law enforcement to see if it legal or not. On cars in my area, it's illegal so I'm assuming that on a bike it would be also.
@@Kephers7it’s the positioning when people swap them improperly that most people complain about with being blinded that I think is what keeps the m frlm becoming standard
Lovely monitor, I have the 5120 1440 49 inch version and a 4090 which is the best combo at the moment, I run around 80-100 fps on max settings in most games which I find adequate
Probably the power band. Most engines have a power band at a particular RPM. So let’s say this bikes power band is 4000-6000 (unsure), there’s just not enough power to pick up more speed. Plus the gear and tooth ratio play into it. Engine could be throttled by its gears.. which I actually think plays a major part.
This monitor is really nice but the picture-by-picture mode being 60hz only is a tough sell for me. Most games won't even come close to the advertised 240Hz in dual 4K. Hell, you won't get that at single 4K. Plus, a lot of games don't do well at all with 32:9. It seems incredible for productivity and desktop tasks, but the assumption here is that you'll be buying this to ditch a multi monitor setup. If I have to pull out another monitor to game comfortably half the time I'd be better served elsewhere.
Yeah I think they are marketing it towards gamers, though there’s nothing available to really drive it and max it out. Here in a couple years, there may be a card that can do it, just not right now
I own a 57 samsung to fix the streching u have to change aspect ratio to 32x9 then change field of view to 120 and to run 4k 120htz use hdmi 2.1 and u can run smooth till they give us graphics cards that can run dp 4k 240htz this monitor is future proof
Nah, it was a fun bike, but it wasn’t quite my style. I plan to eventually have 3 bikes. Cruiser, rocket and touring. Starting with either rocket or touring I think
@@Kodysseyokay so I've been riding cbr 600rrs and have never rode a cruiser but I don't want to lose that rocket feel(power). Is this a good bike? Or would you recommend something else. Please don't say scout lol I would love to buy a scout but the funds don't add up for that 😭
@@daltonmast9982 the way I see it.. don’t get the Vulcan if you want a “cruiser”. The Vulcan is a cross breed between a Ninja 650 and a cruiser body. Has too much spirit of the get and go, while being held back by cruiser style limitations. Go try and ride one. I’d recommend a shadow.. they are cheaper and great bikes. It’s what I’m considering.. either a shadow or a Suzuki Boulevard. For a rocket, I’m unsure.. but leaning towards a ZX6R/10R or the Yamaha. For touring, 100% Busa gen 3

@@snoww2009 I no longer have it because it didn’t suite my needs as I thought. Plus tbh, nothing beats OLED. So unless you want OLED, I’d look into it more.
I don’t know the direct answer to that. If you’re just playing the game, it should last a long time. The game is already downloaded to your device, so no data is required to load graphics. It will however, use a small amount of data for your movement/actions in the game, as well as anyone around you. Now if you’re streaming it.. that’s a different story and really depends on how long you stream, and the quality and resolution of your video. That’s an entire TL:DR bit of information to go through. @@Kodyssey Yes it does cuz I want to play Diablo 4 tonight but my internet company has an outage in well I won't be getting internet until at least tomorrow and I'm off work tonight and tomorrow so I want to make the best of it and I can stream Netflix on my phone so that's not a biggie but I just wanted to kind of play Diablo for a little bit But yeah thank you very much That does help So what I'll do is that when I get on I'll just make sure to lower the graphics some
@@MikeBrown-bs7qu are you going to stream? If you aren’t streaming, you don’t need to lower anything. If you’re just playing for fun, your computer loads graphics, not the hotspot
I'd put yourself in the thumbnail. There's hundreds of videos on RU-vid now of the new iPads and such that just have AI voices and your thumbnail makes it look like just another one of those.

Regardless of the M4 and OLED, iPads are still mostly consumption devices. Everything "I" can do on the M4 iPad Pro I can already do on my iPad Air 4 and iPad Mini 6. It's like buying a Lamborghini when all you're going to do is buy groceries. It's just overkill. Same with the iPad camera. I've never seen anyone use their iPad as a camera.
I could care less about the camera. My MAIN reason for upgrading to this one, is the OLED screen. I hated the blooming. This isn’t something that bothers everyone, but I have a large eye for detail. New one is very nice in this regard
Makes zero sense to choose a two-thousand dollar iPad, running a crippled mobile OS over a two-thousand dollar MacBook Pro, unless you’re a digital artist, which is a niche use case.
I gave my old iPad to my mom and my old laptop to my cousin. I wanted a device that could replace both as a portable entertainment/light work machine (for all the demanding tasks that require more horsepower, I have a crazy powerful desktop). The 13” iPad Air with the magic keyboard was the obvious choice. Yes, most people correctly point out that a Macbook could be just as good (maybe even better) for most of those tasks. But they’re forgetting one small, yet very crucial detail - YOU CANNOT USE A LAPTOP WHILE SITTING ON THE TOILET! 😂
I dont think they are going to bring Mac OS to the iPad either but not for the same reason you stated. In fact when they announced Final Cut they actually said why they designed it from the ground up for the iPad and its TOUCH not for IPAD IOS. You could still run that app on the Mac OS if they did in fact do it. The fact they built that app would not keep them from moving the iPad to Mac OS. And I also believe if they did it they would allow you to use either or in terms of iPad or Mac software. There are plenty of people that dont want Mac OS.
Bro I feel like these issues are not a big deal. And it's kind of expected from a dual 4k monitor. I admire Samsung that they launched something like this and it's gonna push other brands like LG to do the same.
No it won't get MacOS unless someone can break the security of the iPad or be brave enough to try swapping flash chips but I doubt the iPad uses the same flash memory.
Huge! At least to me.. but I have an eye for detail. I had an LG 42 C2 before this.. had this for a week, then sold it and got the LG 42 C3. I missed the OLED that much. If you’re used to OLED and like it, I wouldn’t suggest getting this.
@@Kodyssey my purpose is mostly for simracing and that’s not ideal a smaller screen. I use now triples 27” but BEZELS is soo annoying for me even with Asus bezel free kit. That’s why I look for this 57”
@@bmwM3M5M6 for sim racing, the 49 or 57” G9 would be awesome for you. We have a G9 49” here (not OLED) and it’s plenty large enough I think. It’s not quite 3 27’s, it’s literally 2 of them, but even with the 57”, it’s still not equivalent. You’d loose a little bit of screen real estate going with either size, but the emersion would be better I think. Don’t take my word for it though, I’ve never used triple setup. I’d highly recommend the OLED 49” though.. not only would your GPU drive the monitor, but the colors would pop a lot more
Dynamic HDR can adjust based on what you’re doing. Static HDR does not. Yes, on 1440p, but it’s a dual 4K monitor.. most people won’t be buying it for 1440p mode I wouldn’t think. So I was referring to 4K
@@Kodyssey And would it matter really much that dynamic vs static hdr ? Yeah 4K it would shine but I only use a RTX 2070 Super 🤦♂️ so my PC would explode on 7680x2160
@@bmwM3M5M6 🤣yeah your PC would scream. I can’t honestly answer that question. Using the Odyssey G9 57”.. that was my first and only experience. I imagine there is a difference, but you may want to google that one if there’s an answer. Or download chatGPT and ask it. Honestly, if you are running the 2070, I don’t think it would benefit you to get the G9 57”. It needs one hell of a card to run it. So 4090 or the latest Radeon. Otherwise, you’re better off with the 1440p version (49” G9). And there’s an OLED version of that. Also - if you play any games outside of simulation, I wouldn’t recommend the Ultrawide.
I've owned my 2015 Vulcan S since 2017 - bought it with 845 original km on it. I've since added a Madstad windshield. Had the tall Puig; hated it. Added LED signals, a tail tidy, custom foot boards (bad tendonitis in my arch, so necessary), custom paint (original owner is a bodyman and he did custom red & blue, sparkly Easy Rider paint; wasn't my style), bar risers, viking saddlebags & it came with a custom seat cover that I quite like. I still plan on adding a charging port for my phone & go-pro, under glow, a tail bag & LED headlights. Will probably add to my list as I go, but for not, that's it.
