Martha Wash is the voice on black box dreamland album in almost all tracks except for the song “ ride on time “ that has the voice of Loleatta Holloway, the model on black box videos doesn’t sing and was just lip syncing on all videos . Now for CC music factory ( gonna make you sweat ) Everybody dance now ! That’s Martha Wash voice and the singer Zelma Davis was just lip syncing Martha’s vocals on that song on the video , but Zelma also sing on the album on other tracks , people mistake the model on black box videos Kathryn Quinol for Zelma Davis singer on CC music factory .
I’ll NEVER forgive Alan for discovering Oashit. Absolutely awful moment in musical history. It’s still devastating, can’t really talk about it for long, it’s extremely triggering
Could listen to Shaun all day. Hilarious observations. Also Bez replying “he wanted the news not the weather “ 😂two absolute legends. What a great find this was !!
Imagine today giving out someone's home address on tv or radio - They used to do it all the time back then when there were such prizes given, no one thought twice about it or expected creepy stalkers to show up at people's homes when they did. It really is a throwback to a different time.
His name is spelt Bryan Ferry. There's no i in his name. C'mon guys any fan should at least spell his name correctly. I've been to see Bryan Ferry perform live at small venue concerts here in UK three times as a VIP guest. On the third occasion I got to meet Bryan and chat with him briefly back stage after the show. It was one hell of a show and when you see Bryan performing his solo and Roxy Music classics like Jealous Guy on stage it is truly magical. When I met him back stage after seeing him perform his usual closing songs Jealous Guy and Virginia Plain he was drenched in sweat and his hair wet, yet just 30 minutes later he appeared back stage with his hair looking immaculate, a completely different outfit out and long black wool overcoat looking like a tanned aristocratic business tycoon. Bryan is effortlessly cool. It was a pleasure to meet him and chat with him. Such an incredible singer performer but also very humble and quiet when he's off stage.
Helen Burton 21 hakney crescent Wakefield, I really hope you received your wham calender, would be crazy if she is still alive and got in touch left a comment lol 😂 😁 😁 🤣
The woman lip syncing Sounds Really good And She Sounds Really good. I wouldn't have known that she was lip singing there. I Just heard the woman in the music video perform the song and sounded good me. Both of their voices sound similar

I’ve just watched a video from 1988 of somebody driving around Watford, with very sad music in the background (Mahler) and it has brought a tear to my eye, I miss the 1980s so badly!! 😢. The odd thing is that although I am middle aged, for some reason I can almost feel the 1980s, as if I can reach out and touch them, it feels tangible. I love all 1980s videos, thank heavens for them. Grateful that these precious memories are here for us to watch whenever we feel like it. But I do wish I had a Time Machine, like so many others. I would go straight back to those times without hesitation.
I know exactley what you mean there and me too...as if you can reach out and touch it is a great way of putting it ....thank heavens for the memories we can watch back on,and the ones we will have embedded in our minds forever .Thank you for commenting your thought and i wish you a lovely Thuesday 🤗
