I thoroughly enjoy reading and creating these recordings and am delighted and touched by the many expressions of gratitude I receive. It is an honour to be of service to the Dhamma in this way.
Many people have written to ask how they can make a donation or gift. These teachings are offered freely for all to partake. However, people are welcome to contribute to the daily running costs of our small hermitage and the nun's requisites. Donations for this purpose can be made via PayPal using the email address: vivekahermitage@gmail.com Or see our website: vivekahermitage.com/

Hi Jitindriya. Thank you for your guided meditation and words of dharma. Will your caravan have a Buddha shrine? I am in the process of creating one, but not sure what to include. Do you have any suggestions?
This is extraordinarily beautiful! Such a blessing which I shall return to many times. I am so grateful for this and the many other works which you bring to life for us!
Anapana sati, the meditation on in-and-out breathing, is the first subject of meditation expounded by the Buddha in the Maha-satipatthana Sutta, the Great Discourse on the Foundations of Mindfulness. Joseph Goldstein recorded a wonderful series of teachings on the Satipatthana Sutta, a vast effort which he undertook during retreats over a number of years: ru-vid.com/group/PLuclVtaz-ysOlk2bOkPJTrUAzM-hRmqDu
Wonderful, so much gratitude for this . Your voice helps me every evening falling in sleep, my dog knows your voice too. Your voice has mystery in it, and a kind of Peacefull Compagnon in this journey called life. You are truly very much appreciated, i Listen every day ❤❤❤ Thank You
Hello from Taos New Mexico! Can you please tell me the name of the music you used for the "Nisargadatta Maharaj ~ 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 ~ Advaita" video? I am absolutely captivated by it. Thanks so much for all that you do. I love listening to your channel.
Hello. I wanted to let you know that there is a channel called Sehnend and the AI voice they use sounds a lot like yours. You might want to look into it. 🤔
Nah, it sounds like a robot voice with no heart and an English accent. He's using chat gpt scripts that lack coherence. The future of spirituality with no heart? Thanks for your concern though. 💜
I am new to him, to this. I love Zen, will always love the expression of it especially in the poetry, but this is direct, right in your face. I’m often left with a dumbfounded “how could it be otherwise?” The media on this channel is transforming. With religion the theory is “branches of the same tree” everything I watch and listen to point here point l to the same truth. It’s all ok and even when it’s not ok, it’s still ok. You are the one you have been waiting for, it ALL an inside game. I will never really believe I have progressed that much in my understanding, but there’s just all this stuff, past, present, future that make more sense to me now. It’s like I’ve had shoes on my entire life and thought I had 4 toes, then I take of my shoe and find a 5th one. Then it’s like “you have 5 fingers, why wouldn’t you have 5 toes … you idiot?” (I’m kinda hard on myself). It’s not anything to get excited about, it’s fairly embarrassing. But off the shoe and you can hum it in the trash, get some new ones - I could go on with this, but I’ve used enough “words.”
Yet unwise volitional choices can be made that increase karma and sense of seperation and can either be undone or accepted, like moving away from family out of self centeredness to the other side of globe .
I believe in the power of compassion!, The Tao Te Ching says to be like the earth, sustaining and nourishing all beings it also says be kind to the kind, also, be kind to the unkind. Lao Tzu says be faithful to the faithful, also be faithful to the faithless that way kindness and faith is increased. The bad man is the good man's work and don't disregard the bad man but free him from his badness. Something like this Lao Tzu says. May the Tao ☯️ be with you Aya!
