you cant see fucking anything in this video game. visual clarity is non existent. they need to fix it, or not, guess ill just play poe2 and hope they have an idea of what they are doing
Playing close to the same build but with a rare body armor and it hit 30% grace effect. I don’t have the accessibility to svalinn duo to standard. I’m relying on evasion and spell suppression is it worth swapping to cloak of defiance to save the points for mind over matter ?
I feel like they were a lot better when the league started .. I used to get at least 3 divs per batch on t8-t12 maps, now on t17 or 8 mods with all lvl10 ins't worth the gold it consumes.
@@IMA93-21 yeah .. I hope ggg gives a buff to they again, it's a really nice idea of a 'passive income' for maps that u don't want to run or can't run, and ins't based on waiting like farming, that you wait like a week or more for a 50m value.
Bro, thanks for your comment. I played POE on the Steam Deck before, but it didn’t feel that comfortable. Hopefully, the experience on PS5 will be better. As for my build, of course, it works without Mageblood. When I made my earlier videos, I didn’t have Mageblood either-I was using Arn's Anguish. When you're looking for Timeless Jewels, it's best to find ones with crit multiplier rather than double damage, because Arn's Anguish can already give you triple . As for Progenesis, it's not essential either-you can swap it out for Tincture to increase damage. But, in my experience, Progenesis can save you in many situations where you'd otherwise die, so it's a good idea to carry one. Here's my old PoB: pobb.in/w-3ItR6CXn_5
Bro, thanks for your comment. I avoid these map mods: "!tal d|non|o al|gen|s rec|eec|ur$". As for Eldritch mods, I often activate them randomly while mapping, hope that thing will not kill me.
I gambad a House of Mirrors and just bought a Mageblood for my flicker strike build, lol. first mageblood I've ever had and not sure where to go from here
Bro, congrats! If I were you, I might try out the popular EE Trickster or Ice Nova. I'm planning to make a video in a few days since I’ve also finished my Ice Nova build. It feels great, after adding Mageblood.
Bro, thanks for your comment. My main movement skill is Whirling Blades (I have Whirling Blades bound to the spacebar, so I end up spamming the spacebar like crazy while mapping, haha.), but I use Frost Blink in more dangerous situations. Flame Dash is also pretty good, but I personally prefer Frost Blink.
I linked all three auras to Enlighten, picked a Mana Mastery on the skill tree (and I think I also picked a Reservation Mastery), and my helmet's implicit gave me an 8% Reservation reduction. In the end, it was just enough for me to activate all three auras. Actually, I also spent a lot of time solving the Reservation issue. My other character runs even more auras... :)
Have you tried running the game with the "renderer" on Vulkan instead of directX. Linux based system can't use directX so it goes through a translation layer. I am wondering if you put it to Vulkan directly it may improve the performance.
Hello, bro, thanks for your comment. I was planning to post a new video last weekend to talk about how much currency I spent on my Flicker Strike Slayer, but since the character's performance in T17 isn't very good, I feel like I still have a long way to go. Earlier, I saw someone in the comments suggesting not to use Rakiata's Dance, but instead go with the Paradoxica Vaal Rapier and Svalinn combo, along with a Forbidden Shako helmet, aiming for the Ice Bite affix (since the second skill varies, the price of Forbidden Shako could become extremely expensive). They also suggested putting Flicker Strike in the helmet and using five auras in the 6-link body armour. According to the comments, there's no need to pursue GG items right away, as this build is a lot tankier than my current build and won't die as easily.
If it's not a Slayer, the problem becomes much simpler. You can find a lots of Flicker Strike Trickster builds on RU-vid that use Ephemeral Edge and Aegis Aurora. They don't require a big budget and are incredibly tanky (something like es > 13K).
love to see that u enjoy flicker strike and I think you did a great job with the build !! Here are some more suggestions, first of all you can drop impact from ascendancy class and get overwhelm, that crit chance will boost ur damage like crazy. You can try as well to drop anger aura and get hatred and combine it with a attack speed or crit multi precision + flat cold hatred watchers eye.Another thing i'll do will be to drop wrath as well and get flesh and stone, with that i think u could remove arrogance support and you'll be more tankier while in sand stance. If you want to follow a guide u can check MageFist rakiata's build from last league, he has his whole journey there. you will see you did a lot of things great and that s pretty impressive for a new flicker player in my opinion ! good luck and have fun !!
sup my flicker strike brother, your build is coming along nicely. I myself have finally just hit the 150 div mark or so of investment on my build, finally hit 50M DPS. I'd like to get to the point of having those crazy max frenzy rings that the top poe ninja flickerblade players have. But it's crazy expensive, also the music in this is really nice, you got a playlist?
Thanks for your comment, bro. 'Those crazy max frenzy rings' you mentioned might be my ultimate goal for this league, haha, they are just too expensive. My playlist is from: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JTn58PSyEi0.html
What is budget ? I went with a Doryani's Catalyst and Svalinn build and it's pretty good for t17 farming on a 35 div budget, but I think if I want to go above 30M dps I will need to swap to frenzy stacker. I'd love to reach 150M dps to try some beefy bosses strategies, and ubers. You really need high DPS for bosses, because dodging is difficult. Combats are not really interactive so they better die fast.
Bro, thanks for your comment. Last week, I also checked poe.ninja for some builds of Flicker Strike using Svalinn, my previous character was Ice Nova, and Svalinn works very well on that build. But I end up chose Rakiata's Dance, because that big sword looks really cool, haha. I haven't calculated how much currency I've spent on Flicker Strike yet (but it's definitely over 35 Divines: one Watcher's Eye cost me 15 Divines, and one Timeless Jewel was 9 Divines). I hope to reach level 99 by this weekend and finish the skill tree, then make a video about the budget. In fact, I also tested T17 over the past two days, but this build didn't perform well (so I didn’t put it in the video). I died a few times during the boss fight, and I’m kind of missing my Svalinn now.
u could get a lethal pride with 2-3 crit multiplier nodes and gain 1 rage on hit node instead of the light of meaning, it will solve ur strength problems, and for the suppress chance u can get 75% + chance to suppress spell damage is lucky. with this u can drop the rage nodes entirely and some of the suppress ones. if you plan to drop the belt for smth else u can get double damage on the lethal pride as well, hope that helps. keep it up :D
Sir, thank you very much for your comment. I updated my character according to your suggestion. I replaced Light of Meaning with Lethal Pride and removed Rage nodes, which gave me 4 skill points. My build looks much better now. I just tested Simulacrum and T17, and it was very easy. I will post a new video tonight. Thank you again for your advice.
Brother, wth is that music in the background, it makes it impossible to sit through the entire video, especially since it's louder than your voice. Turn it down by like 80%
It's pretty garbage farming strong box in t16, I said that since streamers were telling people to farm, It's only good if scarabs are cheaper but since it's one of the best t17 farms, the price is pretty high. Ritual's are better just for the fact that Nameless Ritual's are a thing and you can get your hands in good uniques/synthesis item, ofc mirror is a thing too, but I think it's the same odd of finding one in a box. There's way better strats right now, giving a lot of money in t16. Tried a lot and my favourite if your build can bypass proximity shield is stacked deck + ritual for the amount of monsters it puts in the map. Farming t17 map's are probably one of the best ones atm
Bro, thanks for your advice. I also watched a few streamers' videos at the beginning of the league (about a month ago) and ended up buying a bunch of Strongbox and pack size-boosting Scarabs, but I haven't really used them much and just left them in my stash. I didn't want to waste them, so I went farming for a bit. As you mentioned, T16 Strongboxes have become pretty bad, so now I'm trying Harbinger and Ritual. I haven't been playing POE for long, and since Ritual wasn't that great in the past few leagues, I didn't really farm it much this time. But it seems like Ritual is a solid strategy now.
@@AnotherGameDoge Yea Ritual's are good atm, not the bestt farm but they give you the chance of finding really good items. Nameless Ritual is cash when you find one, each reroll gives you an Audience with the King, and they go for 1div each, so 5div when you find that ritual. The only thing I didn't like about Ritual's is that you can't find quality items, like 20%+ weapons
I just like how happy you get with the mirror shard lol. Strongbox is scuffed in t16 i think. Try harbinger for fracturing shards/orbs ancient and exalt orbs/shards
This is the second Mirror Shard I've gotten in this league. Since I haven't been playing POE for long, it's actually the third Mirror Shard I've ever gotten in the game. 😆😆😆 I'm going to try out Harbinger and Ritual; hope the results will be better than this time.
That day, after I turned off OBS, I played for a little while and got two T17 Fortress maps and a Fortunate divination card. Some RU-vidrs seem to get better luck when they're streaming or recording, but I might be the opposite.
Glad i found this video. My son and I started waaaaaaay late & I tried different atlas strats. I've made essentially 0 currency so far. I'm changing back to my old strongbox atlas bc I used to make quite a bit just from casual mapping. I may just copy this one.
Thank you for your comment, sir. While leveling up, I followed Zizaran’s video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Kbu2hLKek18.htmlsi=Lu0c9vfk348psY_s) and his PoB (pobb.in/20ygT23MsdQV). He used Firestorm as the main skill during the campaign, then switched to Ice Nova after entering maps. Since this isn’t my first character in this league, I had already prepared some currency before playing (this character ended up costing me 47 divines in total; I didn’t expect it to cost that much and had only prepared 20 divines). During leveling, I bought some cheap unique items, and by around level 83, the build was mostly complete. As for Normal Maven, since Ice Nova has very high boss damage, I think it can handle it around level 83 if the gear is all set. But, because I’m bad at the memory game, I died many times, used up all the portals before finally kill the boss.
When I made this video, I spent about 10 divs on this build, but after calculating, it seems that if I want to increase the damage to farm T17 maps, it would cost around 50 divs.
