This is a traditional arrangement that has been used in the Salvation Army for decades. The Salvation Army's music is very, very different to other protestant/evangelical denominations. Just FYI.

Didn't I hear this in a recent Broadway musical? C'mon. Hymns aren't show tunes. Enough with secularizing sacred music! What's next? Dancing girls?

I first heard this song30 years ago form a cassette my grandmother had called 'Get The Glory' - it was a musical. The gentleman who sung it sounded so powerful. I was 10 at the time and played it over and over again. These songsters sang this a little out of tune but the format was identical to the tape I once heard. The singer here does this song justice.
