I'll let you know that navigations on normally faulty I don't know if it's ever happened to you but if you ever used your phone with like Google Maps and you're driving on the highway and your car is actually on the highway but the blue. Is like out in the ocean are out on the side of the road .... these type of glitches happen with navigation on drones as well unfortunately there's really not much you can do except for pay attention to how many satellites are on your drone I'm very happy to hear that you knew throw it in to stabilize mood when you do lose navigation signal this way you could take over the drone hey man if there's anything I can help you with feel free to ask

+Marcus Vargas (Just Quad-copters) This is my first GPS enabled Drone, This video was my first auto flight and was a nervous wreck lol . Did great and love the IRIS+ but on the 2 day i had a problem and on the 3 days. for some reason LTR mode will do great for about 3 mins then go out of control and i have no control at all untill i switch to STR. Hope to get the problems fixed soon
