Firth of Clyde

I've seen a lot worse than that on the Clyde. Back in the '50's and '60's, I was on some of the 'real' steamers where they broke mooring lines, just trying to tie up at Dunoon - and that was in Summer when they were running the Saturday special cruises to Ayr and round Ailsa Craig. They still did the cruise, despite the weather. Great days.
