Myself and my hubby love to travel, and now that we're both retired we intend making the most of it. We have travelled by motorbike across most of Europe but as we have a small place in Alicante, Spain, our trips are now based around that. My intention with this channel is to record our trips for own reminiscing, but everyone is welcome😊
Hi, thank you, we took the NA-150 and headed for Jaca. From there we headed for Laruns on the D934 then onto the D918 to Argeles-Gazost and headed for the Col du Tourmalet, Aragnouet on the D173 and then Ainsa. It was truly amazing and I hope you get there😉
@@wendygreig9538 Hi, Thanks a million for that info, I really appreciate it. Im undecided whether to go on the bike or car, as I'm really scared of heights. Im wondering how much of the journey thru the mnts has those big drops falling away on the right side. Would you say half of it has the drops on the right? lol. sorry to ask ... thats how scared I am of heights. ... but i really want to do the journey 🙂
@@peaceforchildren4303 it never got that hairy, my husband would have freaked out and gone a different way if it was. You can use street view on Google maps for the route to get an idea of the road which might help!
I don't produce them to monetise, or for other people's approval. It's just to record our adventures so we can watch them when we're too old for it! Sorry to disappoint 🤣
Enjoyed your videos we had a house like yours at Gran Alicant we are now in La marina it's only a holiday home, my question is as no towns signs were visible where did you go up into the hills on this video? Would like to do it. Thank-you Paul.
Hi Paul, glad you enjoyed the video, honestly wasn't expecting many people to watch them, hence the lack of information 😄 From Alicante we headed north on the cv-800 until it crosses the A-7, then onto the n-340 then cv-785 passed benifallim to Penaguila. We then continue on the cv-785 until the cv-770 to Sella and onto the Mirador del Riu at Amadorio. We then turned back on the cv-770 and took the cv-775 to el Campello. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
Just booked the ferry from ireland to bilbao after seeing your memories. Would love to know the route you have travelled down. Big thank you for sharing your Memories.
The hills between Alicante and Valencia are superb. Toured down to Denia one year and for several days went into the hills very early in the morning and was back by the pool by early afternoon. Sheer bliss!
Hi Wendy, really enjoying the videos, keep them coming. How are you guys getting on with the Tracer? My wife and i do a lot of two up travelling together and are thinking of changing our Triumph Sprint to an adventure tourer and like the look of the Tracer. 👍👍
Thanks very much Keith, we are absolutely loving the Tracer, really comfy and so smooth. Our last three bikes have been big adventure tourers so this is the perfect compromise. We have done 7000 miles since April, Alan is loving the quick shifter and it handles two up with luggage easily. Only one down side is the ground clearance when going down kerbs etc, just something to be aware of 😉
You're on my patch. lol. Lake VYRNWY pronounced vern-wee. There's another mountain road running parallel to the gated road which is also beautiful. Hope you enjoyed your trip. John P
