This is my personal channel which means "anything goes" but my main interest is in horror films as well as cult, exploitation, science fiction, etc. so most of what is posted here will fall within those categories.
I’m watching through this show for the first time. Starting out season 3 I’ve noticed how far Rick has devolved from this scene to where I’m currently at on my viewing. “We’re no longer a democracy.”
You’ll try and get anyone into this movie and all They’ll see is Sarah Michelle Gellars dumbass “TEEN HORNINESS” scene and somehow expect them to stay invested 😂😂😂😂
Best dad/son moment ever. And Quill doesn't even bother correcting him. Just goes with it cause Yandu is so damn happy. God that heart warming smile when he realizes what Yandu is asking and how he is asking it.
An absolute masterpiece on every level and one of THE most underrated movies ever made. A tour de force in make up and practical effects on par with 'The Thing'. My favorite will always be 'Dawn of..' for sentimental reasons and how much that movie impacted me when i first saw it aged 14 years old. It remains my favorite movie. But HANDS DOWN 'Day of..' is the better crafted movie on every level. The first three movies in Romero's zombie trilogy and untouchable in my opinion. Romero is a master visionary and director. Always makes me laugh that all of his contemporaries like Scorcese, Spielberg, Friedkin etc all loved and respected him so much but the scumbag suits in Hollywood always saw him as a pariah. Goes to show that no amount of money can ever kill true creativity, and George kept his integrity by refusing to play the Hollywood game. RIP GEORGE A. ROMERO and thank you for bringing the dead to life.
Honestly I liked the series before season 4. Felt like an actually really long horror movie. Which I 100 percent like. Kinda got... idk Excessive. Lost my interest
George died before survival could be recognized. I don't think it ever will becuase it's not the same as all the other dead films. Devotion to practical effects the zombie quirks and just the time frame they were made in. I'm bitterly thankful that George's book got finished. Thankful in that it got done bitter that like everything else in his life he never got the fame and recognition and lastly that it wasn't him that finished it.
I stopped watching TWD right at the end of the main series. Even though I loved it and thought is was in the top 5 tv Series' in my 60 years, I gave enough time to it. TS-19 was my favorite episode of the whole series. It is the only time we got a scientific look at what the virus was and what it did. And how the show-runners added Jenner and his wife (TS-19) who could've probably found the answers but was bitten....leaving only Jenner who was basically a Techie-nobody was absolutely brilliant! "In our field she WAS AN EINSTEIN...I'm just Edwin Jenner" Brilliant line...Makes you feel the loss to the world.
