I do another of elk hunting in real life and I gotta say, this is pretty realistic for a video game. Definitely one of the more realistic hunting Games I've played
I was wondering why I couldn't change calls. 50 times is a little steep for level 3. I play realistically so that's gonna take me quite a while unfortunately.
Thanks for the tip! This game is so much fun, a friend of mine bought it as well and we discovered that multiplayer is essentially unplayable rn. I have a lot of hope for the future of WOTH, one thing they really need to focus on fixing is for sure the multiplayer.
They seem to be fixing the game , I think they know they have a fine game worth having over COTW. They can turn this game In to a gem ,but please add bows at some point.......
Standing, crouch and prone give 3 different levels of swaying while aiming. Go prone for steady aim. (C) if you hit (x) you will 0lace a marker, long press for blue tracker marker.
A kill is a kill. It's just as ethical shooting sitting ducks as it is flying ducks. If you want a more challenging duck hunt, shoot em flying but there is absolutely nothing unethical or wrong about shooting them sitting. That's just my take and also the game developers take as well. ✌
Bro I've done every mission but the four start badger mission and for the life of me I can't even find anything over a two star. I've hunted and drove the mission circles for literally days now I don't get it. Please help any advice?
If you go to where the highlighted zone is and by that pond there is a hunting stand if you are sitting in that stand they was a feed zone to my left right out of sight, that's where he was for me. He was def a tough hunt took me three tries. good luck and good hunting!
Great video. I have noticed when I’m in the stand, my “scent cone” from map goes away. I’ve read somewhere in encyclopedia that a stand reduces your scent but I’m not sure by how much. I think also unlocking the stand perk reduces scent further as well as reducing gun sway
Really nice - and a passionate hunt. Did you try earlier at the afternoon feed times? And a tech question about your settings: Why is it so bright before morning? If I get out around 4:30 everything is so dark, I had to create a ReShade preset to be able to hunt. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Looks like they are trying to fix this game ,i think its going to be a great game and even better down the road ,i hope they know that and continue with fixing it . i think they have a fine game could be even better than COTW animals look real good and long range shooting COTW always said It was Impossible to render that far.. I'm not going to buy it until bow hunting Is In game so Its up to them, I wish them the best and you too.........
can you do an experiment with hunting stands? I can spend real life hours sitting in stands over drink zones for multiple animals and nothing ever shows up. However, if i stalk to a drink zone, animals are often there. I play on PS5 and was wandering if maybe the ladder animation or something makes it where animals dont spawn or something. I get they wont always be there but I spent 6 hrs playing the other day in stands and shot my rifle 1 time. Is it just me?

They should really add random event where deer start shooting back XD Specially if you got mag dumping like asshole... When hunting it should be one shot, one kill, not wound, a clean kill. Follow up shot is just in case and should never be needed for that same target.
