Magnificent mellifluous glorious engine note. Something tells me it's a good 'ole Holden V8. 253's or 308's sound glorious when in such fine tune, as this GTS certainly is. It also certainly is sitting on the road very nicely, hard to believe it's a Q rather than a Z. Maybe it has the latter's RTS or similar setup. Great upload, and thanks 😁👍
Damn i love Evo's, until they crashed the evo 9 was leading the entire fiield. That included plenty of expensive supercars being driven by race drivers.
LOVED this!! Thank you!! There are some amazing vintage engine sounds out there, but it's hard to beat the sound of an inline 6, especially large bore and stroke, like a 3 liter... but when you add mechanical injection, and feed it air through intake runners that are 2 feet long, it's simply amazing. The sound of a 300SL being pushed is just something next level.
Actually its an Avanti II as it was made after Studebaker went out of business. You can tell by the headlight arrangement. The Stude's only had round headlights behind round glass covers, the Avanti II's had round headlights under rectangular covers or rectangular lights under rectangular covers. Pretty much the same cars save for drivetrains and options.
