Hello , I submitted my application in April 2023 and my interview appointment is scheduled for 3rd June 2024 in Ottawa. My wife and our two daughters came to Canada in October 2023 and they would like to accompany me during my US Summer vacation. After filling out ds160 for each of them, unfortunately, there are no available interview dates in June 2024. Can we be allowed to have an interview on 3rd June 2024 as a family? KINDLY REPLY.
I live in Toronto and my father grew up in Chicago, so I'm familiar with the trip. That was often the big family vacation growing up in the 80's and 90's. It usually took us about 10 hours but then again we had gas cars (electric vehicles weren't an option back then). I remember getting up around 4 am, stopping for breakfast after passing London, crossing the border between 9 and 10 am, stopping for lunch in Michigan and reaching my grandparents' home in Burbank IL (an suburb of Chicago) around 2 pm central time (3 Toronto time). Thanks for sharing! Brings back nostalgic memories of my childhood!
What are the documents you sent as an international student? i don't understand the language but i like your videos. What are the explanations and all the questions you were asked? when you submit your ds160, what was the appointment wait days?
Hello So for the documents you need your passport, ds 160 form, a physical photo as per us visa standards, your work/study permit, trv (for safer side, if you have extended your study visa) Questions would be simple Whats your purpose of the visit Any relatives you have? How long are you planning to stay What are your plans after completing your study in canada or home country? What are you studying right now? They are going to be very basic question, be smart while answering. I submitted my ds160 a year before. Waiting period was one year approx for me.
No we cannot carry any electroic devices or wallets inside the premises! If you are traveling alone, you can keep your stuff at a nearby locker! Yes, you just need to carry your new Ds 160 print!
Hi pooja, I am planning to visit US for tourism. But sometime in future, I might also get an opportunity to do business trip from my company. So currently, should I apply for just B2 visa in my DS160 (or) can I apply B1-B2 visa. The later will help me in future.
