As many years as I've been a fan of Carole's I never knew Eric Johnson played with her. He's great, too. My teenaged guitar playing son used to listen to his music about 20 years ago and that's how I first heard him.

Liked the earlier formation of the Trio...what a fabulous group it was. It was a simpler and happier time back then...wish it could return, but we have long since passed the last offramp.
I had the joy and sadness of meeting Natalie when she was 9 yrs old and living with her mother and father on east 83rd street. Mr Cole passed away from lung cancer and my job was to move Natalie and Mrs Cole to their new home after her dad died! It was sad but needed to be done! I was so overwhelmed when I saw all of Mr Cole’s gold records he had achieved and was hanging on his walls in his home! It is a memory I will always cherish!
That was a wonderful concert, with 2 brilliant musical icons. I love them both tremendously. I was surprised and delighted to hear John Williams' NBC theme "The Mission" later in the program. I always choke up when I hear that -- it reminds me of seeing the entire thing played on the NBC weekend news programs. My patriotism swelling as I watched the icons of this great country on my tv screen. (Golden Gate Bridge, DC landmarks, Statue of Liberty)
I agree he has every thing good behavior on stage lovely smiles And you can notice that he sings so soft And mellow hat he has been very well trained he can Sing for ever And keeps you stack to your chair
You don't even need to see the movie part od beach Walk to come to tears when you listen to his creator Mancini in action playing this unforgattable song.
I still think the Peter Gunn theme is the coolest ever. Here is a RU-vid of a very good rendition by, believe it or not, the brass section of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra. Henry Mancini's music really gets around. (I think anywhere in the world you can start humming the Pink Panther theme and others will join in.) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MIKSQT-oXfc.html
