The only reason why they want people with degrees is the fact that they mainly want to people that'll do whatever and they're forced to stay longer to pay of the loan assuming they don't get a second job somewhere and throw all the money at the loan
I'm a mixed methods evaluation manager in healthcare. Some useful aspects of this video, however you don't actually answer what user research is. You talk about 'users' - users of what? Who is the research for? What kinds of clients? What kind of questions? Small scale qualitative work is usually not 'research' per se, but evaluation, review, or assessment. Research is usually a larger scale, academically rigorous and expensive endeavor.
