The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in Preston was founded in 1828 as the Institution for the Diffusion of Knowledge.
‘Ex solo ad solem’, or in translation, ‘From the Earth to the Sun’, has been its motto ever since - helping people from all walks of life to make the most of their potential is what UCLan’s all about.
From state-of-the-art facilities and world class teaching and support to help undergraduate students succeed, to providing world-leading Astrophysics researchers with the opportunity to work with NASA and photograph the Sun, UCLan has it all.
hello is it true that applications for march 2025 are closed? also can you kindly explain if you can get an unconditional offer from the university to get to the uk before leaving your country?and what happens if you weren’t selected after the evaluation?
Well deserved. Steve Pemberton has had a brilliant career. In particular, the trilogy of shows he created with Reece Shearsmith- The League Of Gentlemen (also co-created with Mark Gatiss and Jeremy Dyson), Psychoville and Inside No. 9 are probably the finest examples of comedy horror there is.

I have a small cat. He's neutered, regularly wormed, and has flea prevention drops. I keep his claws really short, and I use lemon mixed with water to prevent him scratching furniture - the added bonus is it smells lovely. I am hoping to start studying at UCLAN this coming September, so my question is this: are there any halls, either on campus or off, that would allow me to bring Toby? I have no one to leave him with, and I can't give him up, because he's my emotional support animal. Any help or advice will be gratefully received and appreciated
Hi there, thank you for your comment here. It's great to hear that you are looking to study at UCLan this September. Currently our university owned accommodation doesn't allow any animals. However you are welcome to email our team at PrivateAccommodation@uclan.ac.uk who can provide some more information in relation to other accommodation options. Best wishes ^Sarah
UClan MBBS is very well suited for people from different backgrounds who wish to integrate with a diverse student life. Its also the most underrated program considering the high matriculation rate and students who indicate they received critical support form staff during difficult times to overcome challenges both academically and general wellbeing

Yes. I learned that when I am at the beach looking at my right and start turning to the left or vice versa I see a flat horizon and seems like I am living in a flat curved. The same thing when I move my head from the front to the back looking at the sky. Seems like I am in a curved dome. If you go higher and start turning 360 you will see the same. If the horizon is not dropping, then it is flat meaning that your video is showing that we are experiencing a circle and not a sphere.

For me antibiotics have worked after a dental procedure where I’ve had tooth pain that radiates, comes at night or last for hours. This has been after deep fillings or root canals. It could be pulpitis, but I think it’s from bacteria from the drilling causing abscess and that’s why it works

I’m abit worried that when I graduate I won’t be able to find a career as jobs in forensics can be quite competitive so I’m just curious what other jobs can you get with a honours degree in forensic science that doesn’t directly relate to forensics?
