My name is Austin, and I love movies! I want this channel to be a space to talk about a mutual love of films and what we can learn from them. If that interests you, I’d love to have you be a part of the community!
If you haven't seen them, I would recommend you.: The Family Man (2000) with Nicolas Cage and Tea Leoni. It's a Christmas movie in the vein of It's A Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol. Pretty emotional and underrated, imo. Serendipity (2001) with John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale. It also starts at Christmas but it's more of a romcom of will they/won't they get together. From your list, all pretty good choices including their reasoning. I think I just haven't seen In The Heights. I specially love Sing Street, When Harry Met Sally, Shrek, Your Name and Past Lives.
1. When Harry Met Sally 2. La La Land 3. A Star Is Born('18) 4. Her 5. Notting Hill 6. In The Heights 7. Sleepless In Seattle 8. The Spectacular Now 9. The Fault In Our Stars 10. The Big Sick
@@JustinWilliams367 those are some great ones! La La Land would be another one I’d throw on this list! There’s a few on your list I haven’t seen yet. Thanks for sharing!
Loved this list! Sing Street I just watched a couple months ago & immediately fell in love with. In The Heights is great! Elemental is an absolutely beautiful love story. My fave film from last year. Only one I still need to check put is Your Name.
When Harry met Sally is really good, I need to give it a rewatch. Really like Sing Street and only knew about it because of your earlier recommendation. I can rewatch that opening getaway scene of Baby Driver over and over.
In 1940 a man assasinated an engliah man in london... This was 2nd war time... So germans spread this news life wildfire across the Europe... N only because of this incident... English were really afraid.. Because first they realised that they were not safe even in England... So who was that man who got killed... N why that another man killed him... N most important thing why the english vanished this incident from their history book... If u want to know.... U need to see..... Sardar udham... 2021 movie.... Don't watch any trailer or video on internet... Just go blank for this......... Good luck.... ....
I found this movie very creepy and really great story . it’s very simple but it’s very effective. I know I had to actually look it up, but that’s an actual actress that played Jane Doe.
I got a decent amount of physical media for the month of July. I just mention some of the highlights. The one and only new release that I got for the month of July is the movie called Unsung Hero from this year on Blue ray. I did not get a chance to see this movie in theaters but I preorder the movie in order to support the movie and studio that made the movie because many people I know told me it was a good movie. I watch the movie this month It is a really good movie with a very touching story that is true story that is emotional and has some very wonderful performances in the movie. it is worth buying at full price the movie is worth your time and worth watching and buying. I also got one Criterion release for the sale it's an upgrade for me of a very good old comedy movie called it's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World from 1963 on Blue ray. Other titles I got for the month of July our 1. Pretty in Pink from 1986 on DVD. 2. The Lord of Rings trilogy the theatrical versions on blue ray. I know these movies our ones that people that know and have told me I have to see. I have never seen them before so please don't kill me, but I am excited to check them out. 3. Up from Disney Pixar from 2009 on blue ray I am so glad to get this title into my collection finally I really enjoy this Pixar movie. 4. Half Nelson from 2006 on DVD with Ryan Gosling and Anthony Mackie. 5. Safe House from 2012 on Blue ray. 6. The Chronicles of Narnia The Voyager of the Dawn Trader on Blue ray. I saw the first two of these movies in theaters years ago when my private school took my class to see both of these movies in theaters. I haven't seen the third one of these movies yet. 7. The Last Samurai with Tom Cruise on DVD. I am not the biggest fan of Tom Cruise , but there has been some movies of his that I enjoy like Rain Man and Top Gun Maverick. A friend of mine told me I need to see this movie. I can understand the feeling of having a backlog of movies or T.V. shows that you need to watch. I have a bunch of movies and T.V. shows that I need to get through and also movies I have in my collection I would like to rewatch but I am getting through the stack of movies and T.V. shows that I have and that I need to watch.
Klaus is a fantastic Christmas movie. I wish it did have an official release as well . The Pinocchio criterion I’m looking to get as well just don’t have the money right now .
@@movieedge7370 I really hope it does get an official release one day, I’ll absolutely buy it. I get that about money, there’s a reason I posted my haul early, ran out of movie money this month 😂
I think we will be surprised. This is a 2 partner as the tbc implied. We are watching a season like its the 2000s and there are 20 episodes. All the pay off will come later. Its good that the bear is going in different directions. Into the world of real chef's and restaurants closing, the trauma of getting what you wanted but not thinking about who you are in bed with, the avoidance of commitment because you don't like your relationship. Not enough marcus though and computer is right to question his existence. Hopefully it all pays off in 3 part 2
@@cabmangray1423 that’s a good franchise to do this with! I still enjoy the latter films enough I have the whole series, but the first 3 are my favorites as well
@@thelasthunter7906 of the ones I didn’t include, I remember liking that one the most but it’s been a long time since I’ve seen it. I should give it another shot sometime!
@@AustinStPierre I suggsst it! Sure, its not a traditional terminator movie, but seeing the context of just how hellish the future is and why the resistance prefers to win the war in the past helps put things into context. Plus, despite *everyone* knowing the twist, following the main character as they discover they are a terminator is always fun too see for me
Agree there are a few franchises worth doing this with. Completely agree with the Matrix and Taken. I still need to see Rise of the Beasts. Prey was a great surprise in that franchise or me anyway.
@@deogiriyadav8399 it’s still on my watchlist. As I mentioned in the video, I really haven’t been watching many movies recently. I don’t really make plans for watching stuff, when I have time I pick something I’m in the mood for.
Hiii.... Hw r u...??? I have been recommending u. . ... Sardar udham. .. For more than 2 months... But i think u r really busy... N i m losing my patience..... So.. When can we expect that....
I had a good time with this one. Not near the adrenaline rush of Fury Road but Alyla Browne and Anya Taylor Joy did great as Furiosa but Chris Hemsworth was the show stealer for me! I did feel some pacing issues but overall it was an enjoyable return to the wasteland. Great review!
I loved every second of it, both times at the theater and you really need to see it in a theater. Wish the ones I was in was full. My hubby and I saw the first Star Wars and I was on the first row and he was behind me. I have seen it at home, as well and we all liked it, including my 8-year-old grandson.
It’s a ton of fun, definitely try to catch it while it’s in theaters if you can! I’m excited to eventually get the Blu-ray too, I’m sure they’ll have it packed with bonus features
I might have the TV a little lower personally, but this looks like a nice comfortable space! I loved your rebuttal to the individual who commented about how you should move out of your parent's basement! I have to wonder what they own (if anything) haha. I also have a lower-tier Samsung TV from a few years back (model NU7100), I appreciate the 75" screen size, but next time I will probably switch back to LG or maybe even Hisense (with an extended warranty). Anyway, thanks for this tour. It was fun to see.
Happy Birthday 🎉. Awesome pick up’s. Definitely going to have to give Andor a try again. I checked out episode but I want to give another try. Sadly, I haven’t seen a single Pink Panther movie but you’ve convinced me to give them a try.
Thank you! Yeah I think you should at least check out the first arc for Andor. There’s 3-4 arcs throughout the season and each one gets better! And yes the Pink Panther movies are absolute classics
😂😂 for those who do not know and are ignorant to know the facts India has been producing movies and making them even before they were common in Greek mythology officially Satyajit Ray was not the first person to make movies it was another Bengali in India people should read more American Hollywood industry was built very recently you can call it and all the big talents they used to cover through all the globe and used to copy ideas from Indian movies and songs
