I just noticed the leak on my headliner. Is there a way to relieve the pressure so it stops leaking (and ruining the headliner) until I can find time to do this repair?

I believe i have a driveshaft issue i have a 2024 x3m but im not really hearing a clunking sound, i have a whining noise, then at times a grinding noise. Does you think that is a drive shaft issue?
Hi Clint did your r 170 get engine ligt on before u did this! My car engine vibrites some times also loosing power at 4 th gear upwards. I maybe have same problem.
That green coil part of the IACV is on slotted bolt holes. Get it to hot idle and then loosen the 2 coil screws and move the coil up and down or twist is slightly until you get the highest idle, then tighten the screws. I took my OEM apart and the metal barrel had worn grooves in the coil part! It was rubbing on the off centered plastic coil socket. I loosened it and moved it slightly and the idlepicked up and got much smoother, I then tightened the screws. I believe when the idle goes up, the valve duty cycle is greater ( I believe it vibrates open and closed) due to no drag and the engine gets more air as its suposed to. Just a theory but it worked on my old OEM one. The faster it can vibrate, the more air it allows to get in.
Thanks Clint! I did this on my 2005 turbo. You made the task look so easy, I was confident and completed this job! Works! .. Now for the oil pressure sending unit! 😊
You're doing it wrong and recommending the wrong method to others. The propeller shaft must be secured at the center universal joint against twisting using a suitable tool, like a large screwdriver. Using a pipe wrench to secure it will cause damage. The hub teeth should be cleaned and coated with a suitable grease like Optimol Olistamoly, NOT Loctite. Loctite is used for nut threads, and a new sunk nut is already coated with it.
This method only works with keys purchased from the BMW dealership ordered by the VIN. I just had a customer call me about getting a new key for his 2020 BMW 430i convertible. I told him that he needed to order it from the BMW dealership, and he told me that they wanted $1000.00 for one key.😮
