Oh no, arguments on pronunciation abound...There's no set way to say it! 'Edimburg' I hear all the time, I love such cute attempts on our language. I have the most authentic local accent, and I call my city 'Enn-brruh'. I've had tourists stop me pleading to record my accent. In fact, it's mainly female foreigners that tend to take an interest in accents, they'll happily listen while mesmerised, not caring if they don't even understand what's being said. I'm not saying any more, other than that I've been treated as a living souvenir, I'm not complaining.That's enough.
