Have you got anything on you actually made in Russia? I have no doubt that what you say is true. But most of the people over there are not being told the truth about the damage being done in Ukraine and also in the background of what you call the Motherland. Go and live in some village without running water or gas. Where there are no paved roads or only a few houses with occupancy. Not even in Scotland would you find people living in the conditions that VASYA IN THE HAY shows. and don't tell me that is not typical. Now he is a real charitable person. Unlike the leader of your adopted country.
I've been saying for ages in terms of price of living to the quality of living Moscow is absolutely the best I've seen. I lived in a few Western countries for five years there is no comparison.
While 10-15% of russians, who have brains want to leave this country of cave ppl. Not only to the west, to almost any country. Just to escape the dictatorship
Why dont tell about the murder rate in Russia also? Corruption and bribery rate very high, Branded electric like phone, computer and tablet more expensive then the West, branded clothes more expensive then the West, Foreign Cars more expensive the the West, Clean Moscow is the this week most popular hybrid warfare word🤣 All the english speaking propaganda RU-vidrs must have got it in this weeks Kremlin script😆
There’s no graffiti either. In NY city there’s be someone defacing those open art pieces. Someone pan handling, someone ready to pick pocket, someone ready to push you on the tracks and full battalion police and baggage checking before entering the subway. I’d say it’s night and day! I can see why Putin thinks America 🇺🇸 is crazy. Because if it looks like a duck 🦆 sounds like a 🦆 maybe it really IS a 🦆.
It's not fair. The nazi-ruzzians don't have to play ice-hockey, ski or skate internationally for at least 10 years to come. No international football either. Now they can play table-tennis as much as they like with the southern neighbours. I suppose they have so much in common like culture, religion and so on.
Love your accent and your REAL COUNTRY, Scotland 🏴 ( completely different from England and way better!!). Scots are cool , nice REAL people, nothing to do with the English ones !💪💪💪👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏👏👏
Russia has no future, in geopolitical sense it's just aggressive Gas Station trying to expand and milk out resources in neighbor countries. It's a backward empire of the 18th century, Russians can't produce even electric kettles. And you think Russia has any perspective in the future?
People are too scared that they might be abducted, tortured and sent to the labour camps in the northern wastelands, from where people never returned or sent to the Ukraine war, to cause crime or have any rage against the machine. Ummm I’d love to live in a country with only state tv and no freedom of speech and everyone lives in fear.
Solid Russian, not bad!
As an English guy living in Moscow I would advise anyone to try and settle in Russia:- Rich culture, beautiful people especially the ladies, clean and safe streets, lower taxes, great food, great weather, superb education system especially детский сад ( the best in the world), excellent public transport, beautiful nature, cheap cost of living, great medical system, strong government, trad values not infiltrated by western non value perversions, the list goes on really.
Why bullshit people here about safety and zero tolerance for drugs in russia??? Drugs sold everywhere in Moscow👈 what about liquor stores and alcoholic beverages sold in every corner👈 alcohol consumption is out of control and crimes related to it skyrocketing. I’m from russia and I’m well aware of what’s russia like much better than some lying Scottish freak. 🤮
He just don’t care , starts talking to anyone in English and that’s it , some answer some don’t, so depends on individual persons comfort I guess, for me personally , it’s important to feel comfortable to be able to communicate with people around in the space I’m in
It is interesting that all of the bloggers I have seen are so focused on the downtown area or city center. I am residing about 6KM from the city center (Bratislavskaya metro exit) and it is absolutely wonderful. It would be nice to see a blog about a normal subdivision out of the city center where the average Muscovite lives. the neighborhood, the playgrounds where children actually play, the green pathways in between the housing high rises, all of the resources you need are available at a short walk from your residence. the metro and public transportation is fantastic. I have not needed a cab or car to get around. It would be great to see a blog about this.
It depends on what do u want more. Student visa to study Russian language at a Language school related to University, which can lead u to a citizenship. Residency visa - a new thing, allowes u to work for any employer in Russia. But u have to find a job in Russia during 30 days, otherwise u have to leave Russia. This visa u can get only in Russian Embassy. Immigrant lawyers help - they can get a residency quota for u, but u will be tied to the region that gave u this quota and have to pass residency tests anyway.
Moscow got all the same issues as America & UK but to smaller extent. We don't have drug-usage and homelessness problem, but we have tons of muslims from central asia not integrated into our way of life + also low birth rates and general decadent atmosphere. If you want to live in a healthy society then go to countryside NOT MOSCOW
Isn’t the lack of free speech a bit of a problem though? I don’t agree with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. I don’t therefore want to get arrested just for having a different opinion. There’s also the issue of the rigged elections and the fact that the country is committing a genocide next door in Ukraine.
I have a few friends truck drivers, and what they always told me is: If you drive to Russia NEVER STOP FOR A REST, GET IN AND GET OUT! Very common way of robbing trucks is they release a paralyzing gas thru the air conditioner while you sleep, which can kill you if they release too much, then another empty truck stops aside of yours, they take all the goods, empty the gas tank and they leave you there stranded. Sounds like a safe country to me!
просто пост... здесь: Russian Code (🇫🇷 "В России я чувствую себя безопаснее, чем во Франции" | ФРАНЦУЖЕНКА Габриель Дювуазен) @stanspb763 1 месяц назад I happened upon this channel and as an American transplant living in St Petersburg who has visited France any times I was interested in Gabrielle's impressions. But stayed on the channel because she is so interesting and cute. First visit to France was the same year visiting the USSR, 1976 and both have changed a lot and do not feel comfortable in France or in my native USA but feel like home in every town or village in Russia. There is never any conflict with people even if there are opposite views, they assume my view is my own but has no negative implications on me as a person. Everyone even with very different backgrounds, gets along. My favorite social activity is just heading off on foot in any direction from my city center St Petersburg apartment knowing that somewhere, within 10minutes I will meet someone who is interesting to talk with and end up visiting a pub or café together. I have never had a conflict with anyone in 24 years, and I am accepted regardless of gender, age or views. I have been in 92 countries and surely here the people are the most aware of the world, the arts, sciences, and overall the most cultured of any population I have experienced. Her comments about masculine and feminine traits is true and I love it because opposite really appreciate each other unlike in my native country where the 67 different official genders do not get along. Most of my closest long time friends are females here but men, of any age are personable, masculine in a natural way and are dependable personal assets to my life. Every female I know is really pleasant to be around, highly cultured, educated, stylish, happy and a joy to know. I hope Gabrielle renews her contract and explores more of Russia, she is the type of person that Russia would benefit from and one who most appreciates how unique and livable Russia is and the very high quality of life and personal freedom compared to any other society I have experienced. Russia has a very bright future but what society in the west gets better every year? I return to my native California for 1-2 weeks ever 3-5 years and every visit I see all aspects of society and living has declined dramatically. The trend over the last 40 years is decline every year, not only in the communities overrun with homeless, crime and ugliness the people are so divided, angry and easily trigged that meeting a stranger is risky. The cities look bad, when they were bright and clean decades ago meeting a stranger is likely resulting in a conflict on one does not believe exactly the same. The utter lack of culture and the assumption that the US is the best place and has a duty to rule the world because only the US knows how people need to live and believe. I usually move my departure date forward to leave sooner to get back sanity of Russia. The arrow of time is positive, as in "now is good, but tomorrow will be better" is a norm due to experience of every year getting better. In the US until about 1970s families were in good condition at any given time but tomorrow will be better was a natural way to think since we lived it. Russia is like that now and has been every year since 2000. No one can honestly say that about Paris, London or San Francisco. If after a dinner or evening at the ballet or a dance club, if a female friend said they wanted to walk home because it was a beautiful night after midnight she would have to be a daredevil or have a death wish in any of the formerly great cites. But In Russia it only means she wanted to experience of the city in its stunning beauty and would be perfectly safe. That difference changes everything about how someone views and interacts with their home city. Walking home here in St Petersburg at 3am after a great evening is a crowning activity of a great night. Once fear becomes the default focus, cities are no longer very livable and Russian cities are the most livable. The unmatched access to culture by everyone should not be discounted as a factor in why these cities are so livable. Within walking distance I have 284 drama theaters, 474 museums, 54 classical music hall, 7 ballet theaters, 9 opera houses, dozens of jazz clubs, 600 beautiful safe parks, 172 canals, rivers and water route, 13,000 affordable 4-5 star rated restaurants, 800 English/Irish/German/ etc pubs where everyone is having a great time, zero conflicts and no drunks. If you have no friends here, it is entirely your anti-social self is to blame. As a male it is heaven, knowing that if I am a polite and have something interesting to say, any woman I see in a park, club, pub, ballet, art museum, cafe knowing the result will be a pleasant conversation and zero conflict or fear. That changes everything in social interaction, and allows anyone to quickly develop a social circle in days that could take years or never in the west when there is so much division and anger that interacting with any stranger can ruin your life. Good people need to come to Russia so they can renew faith in humanity that they are not the only ones. Gabrielle needs Russia in her life the same way Russia needs her and those like her.
