Video channel for Toon Times website (www.nufc-history.co.uk) - highlights from following seasons plus a few more things. Many of the matches have extended highlights which are longer than those on official videos
Newcastle had every single chance to win that game and put themselves ahead of Man Untied and they failed. Especially right at 2:25 where Les Ferdinand had that open goal after Albert hit the post. United took advantage of their chance by Cantona. This gave United all the momentum and for Newcastle this really was their one chance to win the league.
After this game I think we won one game for the rest of the season don't care what people think when I say this but I do believe we would not of gone down if Kinnear stayed in charge and didn't have the health issues
Andy Cole was magnificent for Newcastle Utd, if we kept him and still got Les Ferdinand with Peter Beardsley behind them, we would have definitely won the premier league .
@@user-bc9cc4tu6b Most memorable team in Prem history I reckon. To this day. Can't think of any fan of any club who didn't want to watch us play. If you loved football you loved that team.
I was there, mid week game from memory. Lots of bricks and bottles getting chucked down the terraced streets by Boro fans on way to ground. Good Derby atmos in ground. Toon fans flattened a wooden shack (pie stand?) on the terraces in the jollity! Wrong result and driver crashed the bus on way back! 👍😝👍
Going to London from the North tends to ruin a player in his head. The bright lights etc & player exploitation have left a messy trail. He then went to Italy & Rangers & had drink & drug excess. If he had went to Liverpool or Man United his story I feel would have been better. Gazza did have many given advice but he ignored it. That clip showing him begging for cocaine from a black dude was pitiful.
Was here as a Palace ST holder. Was so excited to see that Newcastle team come to Selhurst, one of the great, forgotten goals from Beardsley there. So good. Incredible The Toon Army didn’t win a league title in that period. Great days all round! (Despite our relegation which was a travesty too!)
@Hadaway and Shoot! - Will you be uploading anymore NEWCASTLE games from season's 2004-05 to 2008-09 by any chance? If so what about uploading the full match between NEWCASTLE and ARSENAL on Wednesday 5th December 2007 from Sky Sports by any chance?
Hello - Unfortunately I don’t have that much recent stuff and the later Premier League matches are all copyrighted therefore it is not possible for me to load up what I do have. Possibly will be able to load up some Championship games in the future.
The season I went to my first game to watch Newcastle thump Wimbledon and I absolutely fell in love with this team and the club having previously been non-plussed with football for all of my 15 years.
If Eddie howe gets sacked and Jose replaces him, I'll give up being a nufc fan and end my support at 35 years (my first match was Southampton in December 1988, and wished we won).
Hi Sam - although I do have some more highlights from a a few seasons from the 2000s a lot of them are impossible to load up because of copyright restrictions- hopefully I will be able to load some more up in the near future
